For a family or family friend, a neighbor, etc. You won’t be able to find real employment as a 13 year old. Just go looking for things you can do for neighbors. Doing things like mowing lawns, pulling weeds, cleaning out houses, etc, get you way more money. Usually people are very generous and will pay you a lot. The trick is to find the people you know are going to give out money more graciously.I got paid $18 an hour to lay mulch and weed a yard for my neighbor. Easy stuff. I didn’t even have to pay taxes! I ended up way richer doing stuff like that than all my friends who had jobs at Burger King or Target.Just ask around, it isn’t that hard to find people who would love you to do some work!

well im 15 and i work at a library (its actually just volunteer) but if i asked i could probably work there. anyway.. if you don't goof off and work i think they would give you the job. It's not hard work. Basically you learn how to check in and check out books on the computer. I'm not sure how the computer system is set up in California for libraries, but it shouldn't be too different ( I live in PA). They also teach you how to put away books, like the order of the books and stuff like that..nothing hard. Im not sure how much libaries pay but its nothing outrageous, and I think it depends on the size of the library. good luck =]
