You can buy a pregnancy test at any age... but I would suggest going to Planned Parenthood and taking one there. They will provide it to you for low or no cost. They can also set you up on birth control pills and will give you free condoms. They won't tell your parents that you were there. The great thing about Disney is that the overwhelming majority of rides aren't really fast and jerky anyway. Even my 1 year old could ride most of them. But with you being so early on in pregnancy, it won't be an issue anyway. The reason pregnant women are not supposed to ride "fast" rides is because later in pregnancy when the baby weighs more, the force from a fast ride can cause placental abruption. This is when speed from being jerked around, or from even a fall, causes the placenta to become detached and the baby can die because obviously, this is the source of their nutrients and life. You are way too early in pregnancy for this to happen. Your baby is not even the size of a lima bean at 5 weeks. What you should be more worried about is what you eat and drink. Do NOT drink anything with caffeine. Disney will offer plenty of beverages without caffeine so this won't be a problem. Obviously, avoid alcohol. And when you go to Epcot and encounter all those exotic foods, use common sense. Don't eat any raw fish or anything like that. You'll be fine. And I don't see any reason to share the news of your pregnancy with anyone yet because you're not very far along and I don't see why it's necessary. Just go relax and have fun.

36 weeks pregnant-Disney World a good idea?
12 hours in a car, then long days walking around a theme park? Not my idea of fun at 36 weeks. In any case, venturing that far from home a month before your due date isn't usually a good idea. What if you go into labor early? If you opt to go, hubby can take the kids to the parks, and YOU can sit by the pool at your hotel.

YO I just recovered from injury not long ago. I'm a big guy and worried my body will still have traces of what i was perscribed. If you are passed interview, background check and uniform had came in, But still required to bring in license, birth cert and social, etc for more paperwork before I start training, do you think there is still a possible chance they will ask for a drug test? Anyone familiar if Disney store drug tests?
