What strikes first time visitors as special or unusual when they arrive in Pasig City, Philippines?
Pasig is very crowded and busiest city aside from the other cities in Manila. Very populated and polluted. You should expect that most of the time you will encounter inconveniences.When you travel around using the public transportation e.g Jeepneys, bus, or taxi it is very difficult to ride on them especially rush hour. 6pm to 9pm onwards. Most people and majority of them are using public transportation. And It's very difficult to ride on public transportation during the rush hour weekdays and weekends. No exception. chances are also rare to catch your ride during the rush hour. Unless if you have your own car, you will just struggle with the hours of traffic. Some parts of roads in Pasig especially when you are going to Rosario or Cainta, roads are narrow. This is the factor that causes traffic and congestion and I guess this will strike first time visitors when they arrive in pasig.Pasig have lots of malls and great shopping area. And Business center/districts. Most of the people spend time in the mall During weekends or holidays so expect that the Malls are insanely crowded.When the heavy rain strikes or typhoon, Pasig is the flood prone area. So you have to prepare your self when you live around in Pasig.All in all I'm not saying that Pasig is a bad place to live but this is the daily life that you might also encounter once you live in this city.All you have to do is to take a precaution and live the Pasig life.—and that would strike our first time visitors as unusual or special when they arrive in pasig.
