Where can I buy minerals, crystals, rocks and geodes in New York City?
I do not like buying them online, so I'm specifically looking for stores that I can physically go to to buy my minerals, crystals, rocks and geodes. I only know of one, and that's sticks & stones in greenwich village.
New Age/Metaphysical Stores in NYC?
I am looking for a New Age/Metaphysical store in New York City. I need to buy some simple things, Sage, crystals, Etc and have not had to do so since I moved here from Colorado where these things were easy to come by. ;) Does anyone know where any stores are located in either Manhattan or Brooklyn?

Where can I find RHODOCHROSITE in New York City?

Not only do they have rhodochrosite jewelry (pendents and earrings), they also have tumbled rhodochrosite and dozens of rhodochrosite specimens (including slices, eggs, and massage wands). Some of the pieces are dark red, others a bright pink with good banding. You might also find rhodochrosite at other rock shops or metaphysical stores in New York, but this is a minerals which is often not so easy to find in anything other than tumbled stones.
Do healing crystals work, and if so, how?
Nope, there's not a jot of credible evidence that crystals have any kind of 'healing properties'. Some undereducated hippy somewhere must have seen a crystal one day, marvelled at its attractiveness and decided it must be magic because of a coincidence between his migraine clearing up and him putting the crystal in his pocket. (Coincidences are basically the fundamental reason why alternative medicine exists). Such basic mistakes and a lack of method in separating correlation from causation is why non-scientists get sucked in by voodoo, magic, gods and other rubbish. Edit: The total nonsense spouted by smartass is typical of the alt med community; if poorly educated, just dribble on with random rantings and hope no one notices you're not actually making any sense.
