Name of the opera song that was on Desperate Housewives last week?

I heard an opera song on Desperate Housewives last week and it is stuck in my head. It sounds like Andrea Buccelli but I am not sure. It is a very popular song and I have heard it before but cannot find it. If anyone saw that episode it is when Susan walks into the neighbors apartment who is gay and he is listening to it. Thank you!

Who killed Katherine Mayfair's real daughter in Desperate Housewives Season 4 episode 17?

It's the one called 'Free'. When Wayne is holding Katherine and Bree hostage, Katherine and her aunt find the real Dylan dead underneath something. The aunt says something about how she came in to give her a blanket and that her hand if ice cold. I don't understand how she died though. Can someone please explain it? Thanks!

What are some examples of musicians who were very famous and popular in their youth but then went on to pretty successful, but lower profile, careers making other kinds of music (eg. for film or electronica etc.) when they got older?

Danny Elfman jumps to mind. Oingo Boingo was never a huge band but they did have some amount of success. Elfman, of course, went on to score everything from The Simpsons theme song to Desperate Housewives to just about every film that Tim Burton has directed and much more. Trevor Rabin, guitarist for Yes in their '80s incarnation, has also had quite a bit of later success scoring films.

What are the best bands that feature people more famous for being actors or actresses?

Realizing that "best" is subjective, I'll list some I know of (which in some cases I like and appreciate and in other cases I'm stuck at "WTF"), and people can decide for themselves:Gwyneth Paltrow has sung backup on several album tracks for Sheryl Crow (and this was way before she was ever on Glee). She is also Mrs. Coldplay (married to Chris Martin, its vocalist).Chevy Chase was the drummer in the original lineup of Steely Dan.Russell Crowe fronts a band called Thirty Odd Foot of Grunts: Dennis Quaid fronts a band called Dennis Quaid and The Sharks: There's the John Corbett Band: Steve Martin is actually well-known on the bluegrass circuit for being an incredibly talented banjo player: Johnny Depp began his career as a musician, and it's his first love; he is a talented guitarist. He did the slide guitar on Oasis' single, "Fade In Out." He sits in all the time with people like Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper, and Aerosmith, produces music with his friends, and sometimes collaborates musically with his life partner, French recording artist Vanessa Paradis. One of my favorite clips of Johnny on guitar (because he is so completely in the "guitarist zone") is him backing up Eddie Vedder:

Why is there controversy over freedom of speech today?

Because many people don't understand what freedom of speech means. They seem to think that means people should be sheilded from any consequence of what they choose to say.

The Dixie Chicks choose to exercise their freedom of speech by saying some ugly things about the president, They have not been sent to jail. The government has not banned their music. People who were offended by their statements choose to express their opinions by not buying Dixie Chick music & telling radio stations they would change the channel if a Dixie Chick song came on.

Both groups were exercising their freedom of speech.

What television series would make the best video game and why?

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this already--The Walking Dead.  It'd be like H1Z1 but with the lore and richness of the comic book and TV series. It would be absolutely badass as an FPS MMO.  Players would have to hunt, defend, forage, and ultimately find buddies to develop micro-societies (think: Woodbury or Terminus).  Groups would then have to fend off zombie hordes and deal with other humans such as roving marauders or rival factions.  Macro missions would entail everything from trying to restart civilization, finding a cure for the infection, or simply destroying other groups of players.I can also envision a new player initiation mechanic similar to the experience that Rick undergoes in the show.  Players "wake up" and find the world devastated.  Current groups would be alerted when newbies join the game and can undertake missions to rescue them and by doing so, initiate them to join their faction.
