Where Can I Find Each Nations Top Single

Dimensions of a critter nation cage liner?

I have both a critter nation and ferret nation and used to buy expensive cage liners but found that the BEST this to use is a regular bath towel for the pan liner as this soaks up urine MUCH better than fleece or flannel which just kinda makes it pool up and then stick to the pan. Just use a regular bath towel or get a big beach towel and cut it in half. I would suggest just waiting till you get the cage and then buying some towels for pan liners (really cheap and you won't care if they chew holes in them, because they *will* and it won't bother you because it didn't cost you a ton) and then getting a few yards of fleece or flannel and making your own shelf liners.

I used to sew shelf liners out of fleece and flannel but found that just cutting a piece that is the size of the shelf plus about 2 extra inches all the way around and then tucking it under the shelf when you place it in works even better and wastes less material - just keep in mind that your rats are going to chew the heck out of these things so doing it cheap is the way to go. I found that if they are tucked under then the rats wont chew them as much because they can just pull a corner up if they want instead of having to chew a hole to "see what is underneath" haha. Plus then you can have a stack ready to change out every few days so the cage doesn't get smelly and gross without having to spend a ton on them.

As for the ramp covers, my cages came with 2 each! However, I found that my rats hated these things and some had really trouble walking down the ladders with them on. It kinda made them "slide" down. Plus if they chew a tiny hole in one they can get their little claws or feet stuck in the hole and hurt themselves. The ones that came with my cages were teal and purple, one color on each side. I did make a few by measuring the ones that came with the cage but then never used them due to the issues listed above.

The dimensions are:
Bottom pan: 36"L x 25"W
Shelf: 23"L x 17.75"W
Ramp cover: 18 1/8"L x 5 3/8"W

They are FABULOUS cages and what I would recommend! I have had mine for years and they still look brand new. Totally worth the money!

Critter Nation cage - single or double ahhh!?

Why do you think that a single isn't big enough for male rats?! Did you even read my answer to your other question? Males and females require the same amount of space. A single cn can house up to 5 rats, a double 10. They can be made into one huge cage, or two seperate cages stacked on top of each other.

If you have the money, and think you might eventually want a lot of rats, get the double. If you don't have the money then obviously that solves the question. I only have five rats in a double cn. If you are sure you will only ever have two to four-five max rats then a single is fine, and you shouldn't feel bad if you can't get the double, but it wouldn't hurt them to have extra space.

TO fill the space of the CN, you just need to buy hammocks and toys. Honestly, you can make your own even if you can't sew. It wont be pretty but your rats will love it just the same :)
Here's my cage:

Edit: No big deal!
I guess they look big (pictures don't do the size of a CN justice, even with rats in em for comparison, it's hard to see quite how huge they are), but three males would be in paradise in a single CN. They are generally pretty lazy lol
If you plan on getting males, and don't get them when they're super young, you could get a double ferret nation from petsmart for 200. It's the same as the CN but with wider bar spacing that is too big for babies, and females that are on the small side. Just a thought :)

Thanks (for saying my rats are cute) :)

Why isn't there one single world wide currency?

Because there are different countries with different economic systems (capitalism, socialism, communism or any combination of these three), with different political systems (democracy, autocracy, authoritarianism, theocracy or any hybrid thereof) but most importantly, with different self-interests.

Unless of course, two or more countries agree to unify their respective economies and one very good example is what happened to most of Western Europe through the European Union by introducing its own unified currency called 'euro'.
If you look deeper among its members, you'll find the commonality that all have a democratic form of government with an economic system that is basically and fundamentally capitalistic.

How many ferrets in a critter nation?

yes that's actually the best cage for ferrets and you can have up to three ferrets

If you were to pick one cricketer per nation, what would be your perfect ODI XI?

1.  Sachin Tendulkar           (IND)2.  Adam Gilchrist(W.K)    (AUS)3.  Ricky Ponting(C)           (AUS)4.  Kevin Petersen               (ENG)5.  Ab De Villiers                   (SA)6.  Shakib Al Hasan            (BAN)7.  Dwayne Bravo                (WIN)8.  Wasim Akram                (PAK)9.  Zaheer Khan                   (IND)10. Shane Bond                   (NZL)11. Murlidharan                    (SL) I have only choosen those players which I have watched them play during their playing days. Therefore in my team there's no Kapil Dev or Imran Khan or Viv Richards etc....Top Order:-Gilchrist had been my all time favourite opener. There were plenty of greats but for me it's always going to be Gilly. For Sachin I don't need to explain anything. For no.3 possition there were four players in my mind. Kallis,Dravid,Kohli and Ponting. In the end to give proper balance to my team I opted for Ponting.Middle Order:-If I have to choose one ODI player from England than no doubt there's no one other than KP.AbD is currently the best player in the world.I know we were asked to pick only among top 8 so I am going to pick one player who has helped his team to attain rank 8 for the first time i.e. Shakib. Recently Shakib has been declared as the best all-rounder by ICC. Hence I have to include him in my team. As, I said above I am not picking those palyers whom I have not watched playing in their playing days therefore a lot of options were deducted from my list there only. From rest available option I had Flintoff, Kallis, Bravo, Razaqq. Kallis is not a good option for no.7 and as I have already picked one player each from England and Pakistan, therefore Bravo was only the best option left.Bowlers:-Wasim one of the finest ODI bowler ever is there in my team. Zaheer has been my favourite player through out and my team needs one quickie and it is Shane Bond. I have opted for Murli as my front-line spinner with Shakib to support him.Captain:-When Ponting one of the most successful captain in my team than I hardly need to debate on that.

Which country has the best Gold medal to population ratio in a single Olympics?

In the early years of the Summer Olympics, several countries managed better a haul of ‘1 gold medal per 250,000 of population’.They were…1896, Athens Games: Greece managed 1 gold per 243,3801912, Stockholm Games: Sweden managed 1 gold per 233,5081920, Antwerp Games: Norway managed 1 gold per 203,8281924, Amsterdam Games: Finland managed 1 gold per 235, 0471952, Helsinki Games: Luxembourg managed 1 gold per 299,000All figures relevant to the population at the time. But these figures offer nothing when faced with the surge of Caribbean stars in more recent memory. My girlfriend actually gave me the following information.Jamaica?No. They’re nowhere to be seen…And they’re not. Despite the headline grabbing antics of the Jamaican sprinters, their population density leaves them wanting when it comes to the best gold medal to population density at a single Olympics. The three top are, in chronological order:1964, Tokyo Games: Bahamas managed 1 gold per 134,0722000, Sydney Games: Bahamas managed 1 gold per 149,6432012, London Games: Grenada managed 1 gold per 110,821So Grenada takes the win with Kirani James one medal at the 2012 Games providing the best gold medal to population ratio at any Summer Olympic games. But we haven’t look at the Winter edition. And when we do, the snowy peaked caps of Europe swoop in to deny the Caribbean island their glory. In 1980 at the games in Lake Placid, New York the tiny mountain kingdom of Liechtenstein won two -TWO - gold medals (although they were won by the same person, Hanni Wenzel, she also won a silver that year). In 1980 the population of Liechtenstein was 25,869 according to Google. That gives us 12,934 (and a half) people per gold medal, which destroys the field and makes them the country with the best gold medal to population ratio at a single Olympics.Source of Summer stats: Olympic Medals per Capita - a particularly interesting website to wile away some time. If you like medals per capita obviously.
