Which one of these people do you think would be the best ancestor for a superstar actor? Charles I, Catherine Parr, Henry VII, Edward IV?

Catherine Parr wasn't a monarch, and she had no children who grew up to have children of their own. No one can be descended from her.

Moreover, the monarchs you've listed there were all related. If you are a descendant of Charles I, you are ALSO a descendant of Henry VII and Edward IV. In fact, Henry VII was married to Edward IV's daughter, and Charles I was their great-great-great grandson.

Which is correct, “One of them has/have”?

The correct answer is “One of them has…”Subject-verb agreement is one of the most confusing things in English grammar.I come across a number of people who tend to use the wrong form of the verb for a particular subject. The rule is simple. If your subject is singular, your verb should also be singular whereas if the subject is plural, the verb should also be plural. I guess most of the people are familiar with this rule. However, what complicates matters is that we always associate the suffix “s” with plurality. By some chance of the arbitrary mess that the English language is, singular verbs are mostly suffixed with “s”. Even I had this confusion when I was first taught subject-verb agreement. So once you get used to the fact that “walks” is a singular verb and “walk” is a plural verb, you will be just fine.Although, here, the question pertains to another level of subject-verb agreement, wherein there appears to be 2 subjects. Hence we need to figure out which one is the subject, whether it is singular or plural, and then decide on the verb. Here, the emphasis is on “one” and not on “them”. Hence, “one”, which is singular, becomes the singular subject which should be accompanied with “has” which is the singular verb here. “Have” is the plural verb.I hope you got to know the reason for this confusion and that you will be able to cope better with this henceforth.

Whose voice is in the intro to Pink Floyd's "One of These Days"?

As others have said the voice part was not the intro but in the middle of the track that was released on Meddle. However, there were live versions that began with the voice, saying, “One of these days I’m going to cut you into little pieces.” There were also versions were the voice kept coming in throughout the track but as you say the album version has the voice in the middle, as does the live version on Delicate Sounds of Thunder. The track went through many stages and they experimented with the voice in several places. If you use YouTube you can find many different and interesting versions of this great track.
