Where Can I Find Splenda Or Similar Sweeteners In South Korea

Why do I get dizzy and lightheaded after drinking artificial sweeteners?

Any time I drink a diet soda, or eat or drink anything else with artificial sweeteners (seemingly any type), I find myself with a headache, unable to think clearly, dizzy, and lightheaded. Other people tell me that I'm crazy. Is this a relatively common affliction, and what might the cause be?

Is Splenda okay for diabetics?

Well im 16 and my mom is korean so she doesn't really know a lot of current events...or really much anything.

My dad got diabetes and i did some studying with my dad and got some docs. And my dad is all good. But since he got diabetes. My mom has to feed 4 ppl plus herself. So she cooks everything at once which means no suger for my mom, me, my two little sisters.

My mom has no tolerance for bull ****. And when i told her about a commercial i saw on TV. About Splenda, and how its not sugar but it makes it sweet. And she just said if it makes it taste sweet. Its not gonna be good for diabetics. Like she is the hardest women to change. "hey u wanna go to church" mom: **** that bull ****. "hey lets go on a fitness program for 10 bucks. mom: **** that bull ****. mom lets recycle to save the earth, mom: **** that bull ****.

So if i could get some nice facts. And proof if splenda is okay for diabetics and then the whole family can now put splenda in everything and make everything taste good again.

If a person doesn't consume soda or excessive caffeine or junk food, what are the most important changes they can make for better health? Drinking green tea? Eating more greens? Fewer animal products or less sugar or gluten?

As someone who makes a conscious effort to eat healthy and try and stay fit,I can say it makes a world of difference.First up if you stop taking Soda/soft drinks you are reducing your calorific intake(it has a LOT of sugar), your intake of synthetic products. A can of soda normally has somewhere in the region of 150 Cal, you have to BRISK walk for say 20 mins to burn it off. An orange on the other hand has 50 Cals and also is a great source of Vitamin C. So by giving up soda, you're making sure you have a healthier diet, you probably have lesser chance at diabetes Even 1 Soda a Day Can Hike Your Diabetes Risk. Drink water, BEST drink EVER.There are various studies related to caffeine but yes excessive consumption is ofcourse bad for you, by reducing that youre promoting a sense of control over your body, no you dont need your daily fix to stay alert, you can do it on your own. Also remember that with Coffee you also take a lot of sugar, which increases your calorific intake and you have to burn THAT many calories more to make sure you dont gain weight.Coffee also dehydrates you, so if you're an active individual, there is a chance that coffee is making you perform less than 100%. I have read a few studies suggesting that it also affects your libido.Eating more greens just ensure you get your daily dose of minerals and vitamins , since meats are protein rich but dont provide your daily dose of vitamins and minerals. They also give you a lot of fiber which keeps you full for lesser calorific intake therefore ensuring that your BMI stays in check. The fiber also ensure that your bowel movements are regular and keeps your stomach fit. But try and not over do it , else it just might give you an upset stomach.Green tea: In the words of Russel Peters : TAKE IT AND GO. I take it after dinner, and I have noticed I have better sleep and also it aids digestion for me.There are a WORLD of benefits for green, too many to type out , so I will just mention the biggies.Reduces the risk of cancer!Fights ageing signs!Helps with weight loss since it boosts your metabolic rate naturallyFor the rest you can just read here25 Benefits to Drinking Green TeaAll the above is based on my personal experience/ reading , if you have anything to add on or correct , please feel free to Cheers :)

Replace Pandan leaf in a recipe?

Are you using the leaf to wrap the food as a packet? In which case you could replace the pandan leaf with banana leaf or even use wax paper, parchment paper or aluminum foil .

As an herb, the essence is known as "kewra" ---- if you have an Indian store in town, they will carry it. It's also called screw pine leaf, many Asian stores will carry it (check the frozen section).

Are crush water flavor packets as healthy as they seem?

These? http://www.amazon.com/Grape-Crush-Single...

Can't find ingredients to them, but why would it seem healthy? Please describe all the nutrients, vitamins, fibres and proteins you would think are in them?

Zero, except maybe Vit. C. Otherwise they will likely be sweetened with Aspartame or Sucralose, both UNhealthy, feel free to look them up, I can't be bothered reiterating hundreds of side effects.
You might get lucky it be sweetened with a sugar alcohol like Sorbitol or Xylitol which won't cause many problems, but aren't overly beneficial. You're also getting some artificial colors (contains known carcinogens), artificial favours, probably sodium benzoate (breaks down into benzene) and phosphoric acid (leaches minerals from your body). Possibly some pesticide laden, chemicle processed, genetically modified corn starch, which will break down into sugar. Packaging probably offers some PFOA or thyroid disrupting pthalates or BPA/BPS. Carcinogens..

ENJOY!!

If you have to choose between UK and France, considering people and culture where would you choose to live?

One day, when I have the financial security, I would love to visit the UK.So far, I have visited Paris with my family. We stayed just outside of Gare de Lyon station. My first thoughts weren’t the greatest: “Wow, it smells like pee!” To be fair, I’m pretty sure that was from the railway. There was a small cafe nearby, Les Duex Savoies. My family and I went there to get our first authentic French coffees. Dear Lord, it was so bitter! We asked for Equal, Sweet and Low, or at least a Splenda to sweeten it up, but the waitress had not a clue what I was talking about. She understood our American accents enough to bring over two sugar cubes, but as you know, sugar is nowhere near as strong as artificial sweetener. We had to beg the poor lady to bring at least a dozen cubes. After I finally Americanized my coffee to the point where it was sweet enough for me to drink, I noticed the smell of pee had faded. Instead, there was a thick musk of smoke. Looking around the cafe, almost everyone had a cigar in their hand. I realized how much more lax the French are towards public smoking.Eventually, I came around to France. I saw Notre Dame! I stood less than six inches from the Mona Lisa! I pioneered the Seine, not once, but twice! I also ended up running from TSA and armed soldiers with machine guns while pushing my father in a wheelchair, and am infamous at the Charles de Gaulle Airport now, but that’s a story for another time.I cannot wait to go back. I would love to share my experiences with a family of my own one day. Only, I’ll use the Orly Airport next time.

If "lemonade" is a fizzy drink in your country, how do you ask for an American lemonade (lemon juice, sugar, water)?

To add to the UK answers. In most bars and restaurants, you simply can't get a US-style lemonade. If it is on the drinks menu, then it will be called 'still lemonade', or have that as a description. Lemon squash (cordial) is close, though the dilution has to be quite low to get the flavour that American lemonade has. This can be purchased in supermarkets, but is not commonly available to have with a meal. In the UK, any drink with an -ade ending is fizzy. Orangeade and cherryade are reasonably common in supermarkets, but stick an -ade on the end of anything and we will expect some fizz. We love our lemonade and will add it to many drinks (where soda water just wouldn't be the same): Southern Comfort and lemonade, lager top (a pint of beer with a squirt of lemonade in) and, my favourite, Pimm's (Pimm's, lemonade, cucumber, mint, strawberries, orange. Yes, it's a perfectly normal real drink!)

What impact does a diet soda have on a keto diet?

Hi SKY!Most artificial sweeteners fall into a class that is referred to as “non-nutritive” meaning that they have no nutrient value to the human body. They provide a sweet taste to the senses without raising the blood sugar. These sweeteners can be useful in cooking and in maintaining blood sugars; however, it is important to realize that many of them still stimulate an insulin response. If you’re diabetic then usually you have more attention of consuming excess sugars and what foods are best for you. Some refuse to touch all soda or prefer to sweeten up with sweeteners such as aspartame or sucralose.Even though they have no calories, it is a man-made product and can have an impact on hormones and blood sugar. Although a complex process within the body, studies show a difference in gut hormones secretion when drinking diet sodas.Studies also show sweeteners found in diet sodas could cause intolerance to glucose by changing the intestinal environment. In animals, non-nutritive sweeteners activate gut sweet-taste pathways that control incretin release and upregulate glucose transporters.Bottom line is a tiny amount to sweeten your drink may not do much one time. Repeated use, however, can indirectly affect insulin production, modify gut bacteria, and your body’s chemical response to sweet foods.Diet soda, unlike regular sodas, contains less carbs and even free of carbohydrates. It is sweet, indeed, which makes it a perfect sweet tooth for whoever of you dreaming about fat loss.It indicates, that by drinking diet soda you can still maintain your low carb intake, which must be between 20 and 50 grams per day. This is why diet soda is different from regular sodas, as a can of regular soda would significantly add up your body’s net carb intake, even more than 50 grams per day.As a health specialist, the best and guranteed way to track your diet is to use special medical tool: Blood ketone meter for ketogenic DietRefrences:https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc...https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pub...Introduction to Ketogenic Diet - A Simple Intro to Ketosis & Ketones
