Where Can I Found Out Statistics Of Players After The All-star Break Nba

Do all star game stats count to the players season.?

So joe Nathan got the save tonight. Would the save count to his season total? Or would at bats count to a players batting average? Or would Corbin get the loss? And one more thing. Jeter was going for 3000 hits right near the all star break in 2011. If he didn't get any hits in the last homestand against the rays and played in the all star game and got a hit, would that be his 3000th hit?

Does the All-Star Game count towards players' season and career statistics?

User answered the main question, but as to the secondary question "is it controversial"? Well, the choice to not count the game stats toward individual career numbers is not controversial in the slightest. All the All-Star games for the major US sports are treated similarly. However, the awarding home-field advantage in the playoff has been a little controversial: it's kind of questionable that an exhibition game should determine something as important as homefield advantage for the playoffs. For instance:Managers manage more to get as many players in the game as possible than for strategic value. If a guy hit three homers in a normal game, you'd leave him in. In the ASG, he's likely to get pulled because the backup 3rd-baseman needs to get in the game for two innings.Several of the players on both sides aren't going to catch a whiff of the post-season, so what do they care about who wins home-field? Is any member of, say, the 2012 Cubs going to be motivated by a playoff advantage they aren't going to get? There are better and simpler ways to do it -- most obviously; just reward the team with the best regular season record home-field advantage in the World Series. Making the outcome of the All-Star Game the determinant is just an attempt to make an otherwise meaningless game that was losing relevance "mean something" and drive TV ratings.

Who's the second best nba player in history?

i believe that ya the best is jordan, but 2nd belongs to either magic, bird, or wilt, or russell. this is how i am going to break it down.

magic johnson: career stats- 19.5 points 7.2 reb 11.2 assists awards: 5x champion 3x mvp 12x all star

larry bird: career stats- 24.3 points 10 reb 6.3 assists awards: 3x champion 3x mvp 12x all star

wilt chamberlain: career stats- 30.1 points 22.9 reb 4.4 assists awards: 2x champion 4x mvp 100 points in 1 game

bill russell: career stats-15.1 points 22.5 reb 4.3 assists awards: 11x champion 5x mvp 12x all star best defensive player ever

ok so after this i've narrowed it down to two players magic johnson and wilt chamberlain. magic earns a spot in top 3 because of 5 rings and 3 mvps which is awesome also 11 assists is a whole lot. wilt only has 2 rings and 4 mvps but he scored more per game on average than anyone except jordan whom hes tied with.

so now here is a deep analysis on each.

magic: RECORDS: Holds career record for highest assists-per-game average—11.2. ... Shares career record for most consecutive seasons leading league in steals—2.
HONORS: NBA Most Valuable Player (1986-87, 1988-89, 1989-90). ... IBM Award, for all-around contributions to team’s success (1983-84). ... All-NBA First Team (1982-83, 1983-84, 1984-85, 1985-86, 1986-87, 1987-88, 1988-89, 1989-90, 1990-91). ... All-NBA Second Team (1981-82). ... NBA All-Rookie Team (1979-80). ... J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award (1991-92).
NOTES: Led NBA with 3.43 steals per game (1980-81) and 2.67 steals per game (1981-82).

wilt:

Honors: Elected to Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame (1978); NBA champion (1967, '72); NBA Finals MVP (1972); NBA MVP (1960, '66, '67, '68); All-NBA First Team (1960, '61, '62, '64, '66, '67, '68); Second Team ('63, '65, '72); All-Defensive First Team (1972, '73); Rookie of Year (1960); One of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History (1996).

my final choice is Earvin magic johnson because nobody was a point guard as good as him, simply no one. plus the only reason wilt score that much was because there was no 3 second violation back then so he would use his height advantage to score from close every time. on his career magic averaged close to a triple double!

NBA 2K11 My Player Question?

Is anyone pro on My Player NBA 2K11. If you guys are I just wanted to ask what rating were you on your rookie season when it was around the 50 game mark(All Star Weekend). I'm heading into All Star Weekend with an overall of 68. I'm a point guard point first(I didn't know what was play style when I first created so I just choose the first one I wouldda choose Athletic ARRGGH but I was like 20 games in the season already when I found out) and I use heaps skill points on speed and quickness to get to the 90s(I think they start at 70 for a pass first). I also have Off and Def Awareness around 77 each so they help alot for my 68 rating. But what I wanna ask mostly is what rating were you when you were a rookie around All Star Weekend? And what season and rating were you at when you had a star icon next your your name?

Is Pau Gasol the most underrated player in the NBA?

My point was he was an after thought before the Lakers trade but now he's getting the attention for his talent with Lakers uniform on but he wasn't getting that attention when he was with Mephis. But you guy seem to mis my point.

What is your best NBA lineup with players who were not in the All-Star game for 2018-19 season?

Depending on how healthy you think Chris Paul is, I’d want either CP3 or Mike Conley as my PG. Jrue Holiday is my 2 guard, and some mixture of Jimmy Butler, Luka Doncic, and Tobias Harris for my 3 and 4 spots. If this lineup is for one game, I choose Butler + Luka, but if it’s for an entire season, I’ll leave Butler off, because he’s caused issues for 3 different teams in less than 3 years. My center is absolutely Rudy Gobert, as he is going to anchor the defense and make up for any lack of size throughout the rest of my lineup. If you feel like you need a larger player at the 4, I would probably go with Julius Randle, but there might be more spacing issues with him and Gobert playing together. Also, in this hypothetical, is Zion Williamson available? I would actually consider him at the 4 as well, despite never having played an NBA game. This lineup will have at least 3 elite defenders, 4 players who can run the offense, and at least 3 guys who can hit 3-point shots.

How many hours a week does an NBA player work during the season?

My best friend worked for the Memphis Grizzlies in player development for 2 seasons so I have spent some time with players day to day. I will give a rough sketch. There is approximately 3 games a week so each game day is a full work day. We will cap it at 10 hours. (This doesn't include flights or travel). On non game days you have walk throughs or practice 90 minute walk throughs and 120 minute practices. Let's say 2 walk throughs. 1 practice. Players also have individual workouts that they do to make sure they are in top physical condition and improve skill set. Let's limit that to 5hrs a week (it's usually more depending on caliber player) In total you're looking at a 40 hour work week. This is the very bare bones time required to be an NBA player. This does not include things that are hard to measure like medical treatments and film sessions. It also doesn't include mandatory charity events or public appearances. Nor does it include travel time, time zone changes (may play Golden State Monday and Orlando Thursday). Also, the time they spend on individuals was measured by the lowest end of the spectrum I could reason. Kobe, Lebron, Harden and superstars spend 5hrs a day 7 days a week on average. I had the opportunity to personally watch parts of Kobe's workout. We got to the gym at 11 to do some pregame setup. Lakers were having walk through. We left at 1 to run around. About 4 players were still shooting. We got back at 2:30. Kobe was the only one left. We left to get ready for the 8pm game around 4. Kobe still working at game pace. We got back to the arena around 6:15ish. Kobe was STILL shooting. At about 6:30 fans started to trickle in so he signed some autographs and headed to the locker room. If a guy works from 11-6 on game day at the age of 34 imagine what "off days" look like.
