A good math refresher book?
Okay, I am currently going back to college. When I took my first algebra one class in college, I can honestly say I don't know I even passed it however, beings that I am about to start college again, I thought I would do myself a favor and get a book that can help me do a good refresher course on the subject so I can be ready for math, finally. Is there any book that anyone could recommend that could help with this?

Good books to study from for 9th and 10th grade math?
Most prep schools have you take Algebra I in 9th grade, Geometry in 10th, and Algebra II in 11th. Would you want to go into Algebra I or Geometry? Either way, I go to a prep school and we use really good books, for 9th and 10th grade. Here are the titles: Algebra Structure and Method Book 1 McDougal Littel A Houghton Mifflin Company Authors: Richard G. Brown, Mary P. Dolciani, Robert H. Sorgenfry, and William L. Cole. Geometry McDougal Littel A Houghton Mifflin Company Authors: Ray C. Jurgensen, Richard G. Brown, and John W. Jurgensen I taught myself Algebra I to go into geometry in ninth grade, so I really recommend these books because they have very good instructions and they are pretty easy to understand. Plus they are used by prep schools, so you know you will be up to the class's standards. Also try looking on Amazon and Ebay for these books, otherwise they are quite expensive, but we got mine pretty cheaply and it was new off one of these sites. Hope they help!

Good Algebra 2 Math Book for Homeschooling?
Hi! I myself am a home schooled teenager, and I am currently doing Algebra online with www.artofproblemsolving.org - this is a very intensive online math school, and all the instructors are Math Olympiad Champions. You can also just order their textbook without doing an online course. For supplementing, I do Math-U-See's Algebra 2 - I love it! It really helps me to understand the material, rather than simply memorize 'rules'. Another great online resource is www.aleks.com - there is a free 48 hour trial that I highly recommend, Aleks is awesome and interactive! I hope this helped, and good luck on your search!
