Where Can I Get A Nose Job And Chin Augmentation Without Parental Consent

How do I convince my parents to let me have plastic surgery?

I’m not going to say “accept yourself for who you are.” I have no idea who you are or why you want to alter your face, but I do have some simple advice for you. At 16, you are definitely not “fully grown.” You are still growing and your face will change over the next few years. I’ve noticed this many times looking at people I went to high school with on Facebook and in person. Your face WILL change. It may be a lot, it may not. But it will change. And once you’ve altered it surgically, it’s done forever. There’s no delete button and there’s no guarantee that you will like the result. For women who have had plastic surgery, it’s very often noticeable as they age because the face doesn’t shift and change naturally. Meaning, you’ll likely have to continue to get more and more surgeries to maintain some semblance of a normal face. But then again, the more surgeries you get, the harder it is to make your face look normal again. It’s a vicious cycle. Just google any mature celebrity who has undergone the knife for years. The only relatively safe operation would be rhinoplasty, since the nose is just cartilage. It still changes as you age though, especially during pregnancy (if you plan to have kids someday). If your parents are against you getting plastic surgery, there’s probably nothing you can do to change their minds, and it’s doubtful you could even find a surgeon to perform the operation. Most respectable surgeons require you to be 18 with or without parental consent unless you’ve been in an accident or it’s for your health. That said - and I’m not trying to be ugly here, just honest - at 16, you likely have very little life experience and things that seem really important now will be minor details when you get older. If you’ve got enough money to pay for an operation, you should save it and use it wisely. Adulthood is a viscous tundra and you may find someday that you wish you still had all that money instead of a new face. How Your Face Changes in Your 20s, 30s, and 40s

What is it like to be transsexual and not have sex reassignment surgery?

Sort of "ehh" in that I don't really identify as "transsexual", but I do have body dysphoria and want at least top surgery. It's just kind of irritating, I have to wear a binder every day and when I don't have it on I feel gross. I guess if you're a cis guy, just imagine what it would be like if you had really severe gynecomastia ("man boobs"). It limits the kind of clothing I can wear, and the binder restricts my breathing which is uncomfortable. A lot of the time I get angry because I know I have to go to a psychiatrist (which costs money) to get permission to have surgery (which costs more money) because cis people don't think that trans people can be relied upon to "really" know best what they want to do with their body. If I were a cis male, everyone would be totally understanding of wanting to get the condition treated, but because I'm not I have to deal with bullshit like "I don't want you to mutilate a perfectly healthy female body" from my parents. I wish they could feel just for a moment the amount of disgust and dislike I feel for these parts, maybe then they'd start actually supporting me...

Is it legal to get lip injections at 14? Can you do it without parent permission, and how much do other cosmetic surgeries typically cost?

Is it legal to get lip injections at 14? Can you do it without parent permission, and how much do other cosmetic surgeries typically cost?No - because you are a Minor, below 18 yo.No - because most Dermatologists & Cosmetic Surgeons, would deny your request, for multiple, good reasons.Yes - but only if you have been Legally separated from your parents before 18 yo, and have received a Court order, approving a binding agreement, thru a process called ‘Emancipation of a Minor’. Varies state-to-state.That said, the most common and favorite, “Lunch-hour” Lip Augmentation, is via a Lip Injection Filler, like HA (Juvederm Ultra and Juvederm Ultra Plus). These are HA “Fillers”, are not Collagen, or Fat Fillers, or Silicone Implants.Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a major and popular filler, due to little side effects, and great results.Costs of Lip FillersOn average, lip augmentation can cost anywhere from $500 to $2000, using Fillers. Takes about 20 minutes, with results lasting from 6 to 8 months, which can be repeated again, if satisfied, or go thru more Permanent options. The factors that decide the cost are : the doctor, location, and can even include the number of lip injections that you get at your appointment. To get the most accurate pricing - you should call the office of the doctor you are looking to get the procedure performed at.TBC ……… Pre & Post

How much does a "Medical Abortion" cost?

One of my best friends is pregnant and she doesn't want to pay the extreme prices of a surgical abortion. She's 17 (just like me) and doesn't want her ex nor her parents to know. Please help! I've tried searching but have come up only with drug names, gestation period, etc., but no PRICES. We're going to save money together to pay for it, though we'd both prefer the most efficient and less costly of the options. Thank you so much to any and everyone that helps!

How can I change the shape of my neck without surgery?

It's hard to explain so go to YouTube and look up yoga for neck or neck exercises beauty. You can slap your neck in a special way and also contract the muscles there to give them tone.

BUT in all honesty if it's something that is bothering you I would save up the money for surgery. YOURE WORTH IT. Get a summer job and start saving. You can easily save $2000 a summer and $1000 in the school year and have the money you need by the time you are 19. Then you won't need your parents permission. And just bc your parents say plastic surgery is gross --- it's not. Although I've never had it I know it has CHANGED PEOPLES LIVES. A friend who was obsessed w her nose and another w her breasts- they got surgery and are much happier. My cousin had a weak chin and he got a chin implant. He went from being so so to looking like a GQ model!

Is it wrong for an 18-year-old to have cosmetic surgery?

Cosmetic surgery can be appropriate in selected teenagers and can be safely done.Breast augmentation (breast implants) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) considers aesthetic breast augmentation for patients less than 18 years of age to be an off-label use. The FDA has not approved breast augmentation in patients younger than 18. According to the ASPS, over 8,000 surgeries were performed in 2013 on 18-19 year old girls.Rhinoplasty (nose reshaping) – This is the most requested aesthetic surgical procedure by teens. It can be performed when the nose has completed 90% of its growth, which can occur as early as age 13 or 14 in girls and 15 or 16 in boys.Breast reduction – Frequently, this surgery is performed on girls with overly large breasts that may cause back and shoulder pain, as well as restrict physical activity. Breast reduction usually is delayed until the breasts have reached full development. In some boys, excessive breast development (gynecomastia) can become a significant problem. In those cases, the excess tissue can be removed.Otoplasty (ear pinning) – This surgery is recommended for children as they near total ear development at age five or six.

My youngest son has a horribly large and misshaped nose. I told him he needs to get at least a third of it removed before he forever ruins his chances with the ladies. How young is too young to get cosmetic surgery?

Before I over react, I will give you the benefit of doubt. My hope is that you are not imposing your will upon him. Let’s hope that you are concerned about your son’s nose and have not expressed yourself correctly in this question. If he has suffered from trauma creating a misshaped nose, then correcting this should be done ASAP!If a child is over 18 y/o, they can make their own call. If one’s child has proactively expressed a concern about their nose when younger than 18 y/o, then performing a nasal surgery should be done after most of the nasal appearance has evolved genetically - for girls it is around 18 y/o. For males, it is a bit later, around 23 y/o. These are not fixed time periods but a general guideline. A consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon, ASAPS, ASPS member would be helpful in terms of what can be done at the right time for the right reason.Back to your question as posted. Your question reflects you are concerned about his nasal appearance. You then you told him that this would …..forever ruin his chances with the ladies. OMG, face forward , this is not the best thing you can do for him. This is so bad and I agree with all of the previous responders. This is reminiscent of one of my experiences. I had a mother, father and young woman come in for a consult for a breast augmentation. She was under 18 y/o. During the consult, the father did 90% of the talking. He did not want his daughter to have to suffer from small breasts “like her mom” who had a breast augmentation. After the consult, I reported the family to CPS = Child Protective Service agency. In contrast, I have known a young woman since birth and going forward, had a large nose genetically. However, NOT until she wanted a change in her 20’s did I agree to perform a nasal procedure. This is her image before surgery - (there is a full photo release to use the pictures)After nasal surgery and a chin augmentation, she has a better facial balance -So, perhaps you should reword your question or re-think on how you can help your son.Sincerely,Dr. Kulick
