Why don't people like high waisted jeans?
They make me feel like I might hurl out my lunch when I bend over. Plus I can really feel my belt buckle while sitting. Feels restricting.I prefer low rise for comfort. I like to free the gut. It wants to live freely. And when the cinch of the belt rests on bones, I feel more comfy than when it cinches on the softer middle.I feel the same way about turtle necks. I dislike anything tight around the neck. Same with short sleeves that have elastics. Don’t like that.
Where can i buy ''mom jeans'' to make them into high waisted shorts?
You can find tons of 'mom jeans' at thrift stores for a couple of bucks.I don't know how you feel about secondhand clothes,but it's probably where you'll find them easily for cheap.Plus,if you don't get it exact the 1st time when you try making your shorts,it's not really a big deal & you haven't lost much money.
Can somone be too skinny to wear shorts?
i am 5'4 and 95lbs (16 yrs onld) I have absolutely NO bum or hips. (not flat just really small lol) and when i wear shorts i feel unconfortable because they never look right. even kids size 10/12 are too big! so should i stick to pants and skirts or should i keep trying to wear shorts? i dont want to be judge either P.S. i dont want to wear "booty" shorts but i find highwaisted shorts super cute
A high school just created an anti-dress code for students and they can wear ripped jeans, pajamas, shorts, tank tops and halter tops. Do you support this new policy?
I do support this new policy, as after reading the article on it, I saw that there were still limitations on what students could wear, but it let students wear clothing items such as the ones you stated, which shouldn’t be a problem to anybody.The items they took off of the dress code included things such as spaghetti straps, ripped jeans, pajamas, shirts with no shoulder covers; among others.They made sure to provide guidelines on the clothes that they were allowed to wear, such as the ripped jeans couldn’t reveal any underwear, no nipples could be showing, and of course, no genitals could be seen.I think that this was a good decision for the school board to make, as it allows for the students at the school to be able to wear what they want, and not have their class time be disrupted because they are being pulled out of class to receive a lecture on why those pesky spaghetti straps are causing multiple boys to stare at your shoulders during class time, or that the pajama pants you’re wearing just puts everybody that looks at you in a sleepy mood.Furthermore, I think that all schools should adopt these policies, because really, if you’re a male high school student that gets a kick out of seeing a girl’s bare shoulders, there’s probably something wrong there.

Let’s start with a question. What is your purpose for being in church? Most Christians would say that they are there to participate in a service of worship. It’s a time of prayer, confession, contemplation, and praise. It’s a time not just to be with God but to acknowledge that you’re devoting this time to God. That sort of implies a lot of respect for God.So what’s most important is your attitude. If you don’t actually respect God then those other things might not be true. We show respect by how we prepare ourselves for worship and how we conduct ourselves while in worship. Being clean and tidy and neatly dressed and acting modestly are all parts of being respectful. If someone wears shorts because she or he is too lazy to dress more nicely, that’s not respectful. By the same token if someone dresses in an overly flamboyant style in order to attract attention or admiration, that’s not respectful either. The point is that what you wear is really only important insofar as a reflection of why you’re there.What you wear is less important than why you wear it. Do you not have anything neater to wear? Are you on vacation and you forgot to pack any nice clothes? Do you have a scheduling conflict, like a work project right after church, and the only way you can accommodate both is by wearing shorts to church? Then by all means please come to worship dressed as you are! We would much rather have someone in church with the right attitude and the “wrong” clothes than the other way around.

Can men wear short shorts?
Yes! It’s done all the time. Most men’s shorts are very long so you might as well wear pants! In the 60’s men’s shorts had 2″ to 3″ inseams which were as short as women’s short shorts today. Fashion changes!To find short shorts go to the women’s side of the store and check them out. Some are perfect for guys and don’t look too fem. I suggest Juniors / Teen sizing because the hips aren’t too big. They fit guys perfectly. Try them on and enjoy summer like never before…LEVIS 518 Shorts… 3″ inseam and many guys wear them without issues…If you think for yourself and not one of the many who follow Social Conformity you should consider a mini skirt. You heard right… a short skirt makes more sense for a male to wear than a female… no crotch binding inseams, cooler than shorts and outstanding freedom of movement. Practical for guys but if you suffer from issues like homophobia, are sexist or insecure you won’t likely make the discovery these guys have: Online Photo Sharing, Social Network, Image Hosting, Online Photo Albums Note they are NOT cross dressing to look like women…just enjoying their discovery…Once you discover the benefits of a short skirt you aren’t likely to give it up…be prepared for that!
Uncomfortable with bikinis?
I find bikinis wayyyyy too revealing and sexual. I don't understand how people wear them like it's no big deal. Even little kids. I also don't get how people can wear a bikini in front of their parents without feeling weird about it. Even as a little kid I didn't wear bikinis cuz I felt uncomfortable in it. It's practically your freaking underwear!!!!! And then guys get to wear shorts! That's so uncool. If you don't wear a bikini you're seen as a loser or not one of them. So I just wanted to know if anyone else felt uncomfortable with bikinis. And any bathing suits you would recommend for me that aren't bikinis but still cute two pieces?
When did these really 'short' shorts begin as a trend among US teenage girls?
Girls have been wearing short shorts for a while. It started around the time of Dukes of Hazard with "Daisy Duke" styled shorts. There are also old shaving commercials that would have girls wearing high waisted short shorts singing "who wears short shorts...." it is not a new trend. I believe the trend started in the 80s, and although multiple generations have worn them for some reason it is still a taboo article of clothing.
