Its often very feint, but still enough to spoil the compression. Photos often have lots of noise but you can't see it becasue the image is complex. To reduce noise you could try reducing and increasing the image brightness a few times.

I'm pretty sure what you actually want is called a "sweatdrop" maybe you could try searching using that term instead of teardrop. You'd probably have better results. I'd try but I'm not sure what exactly it is you want. Is it just the drop or like a smiley face making the expression?
