Where Can I Get Streetwear Foundation In Mumbai

Are the cosmetics sold by street vendors at Bandra Linking Road, Fashion Street or anywhere else in Mumbai original?

Been there, done that!I used to wonder about the originality of these products. So once I thought of giving it a try.I bought one MAC Lipstick & one MAC pen eye liner for 100 bucks each from linking road. Buying MAC for 100 bucks is an achievement.Lipstick quality was just fine.Eyeliner I used just once and later the pen dried off completely. I had to throw it the next day. So I was at loss.My recommendation:Don' buy street side cosmetics.Reasons:They might have got expired. They can be dupes. If they are dupes, your skin will he damaged.Happy shopping ✌️

How can I learn fashion design?

there are a many things that you can do to improve your design skills and learn more about fashion design. A few things I would recommend would be:Identify your style. Pinterest like crazy and find your favorite designers, pieces, of art, or really anything that inspires you and discover what it is that makes your sense of style uniqueSketch sketch sketch, the more you draw, the more you think, and the more ideas will come to you.Learn how to sew, or find a friend or seamstress to sew for you. sometimes your designs look very different in real life than they do on paper.finally, I recommend this to all aspiring designers. Obtain at least a basic knowledge ofpattern making. Pattern making is a skill that will not only inspire designs, it will also help you develop designs that are realistically possible. In addition to this, having patterning skills can help you get in to great schools like FIDM. Even if your knowledge is basic it can give you a huge advantage over competitive prospective students. I teach pattern-making courses online here if you are truly interested in fashion. Send me an e-mail at patternmakingwithanne@gmail.com if you have any questions, or are interested in personalized lessons!

What's the difference between Adidas & Adidas Originals?

In basic terms:This is Adidas.deals in manufacturing sportswear such as shoes, full fledged kits, Tracksuits, sponsoring (with) teams and other main core business of any typical sports/apparel company. This is adidas original:A subsidiary of Adidas deals in casual sports clothing. The brand uses the famous Trefoil logo, which was originally used on all adidas products until the company decided in 1997 that the trefoil logo would thereafter only be used on heritage products, and was replaced on other products by the Performance logo, which has previously been used on the "Equipment" range of products since 1991.Adidas Originals covers sports fashion styles with strong references to the decades between the 1940s to 1980s. The brand has a distinctively retro old school feel.During the mid to late 1990s, Adidas divided the brand into three main groups with each a separate focus: Adidas Performance was designed to maintain their devotion to the athlete; Adidas Originals was designed to focus on the brand's earlier designs which remained a popular life-style icon; and Style Essentials, which dealt with the fashion market; the main group within this being Y-3 (which is a collaboration between Adidas and renowned Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto - the Y representing Yamamoto and the 3 representing the three stripes of Adidas).

What is the overall nature of friendships in NIFT?

I really like you question! I have some fond memories of the same. Well NIFT is not different from any education institute in terms of friendship between the peers. But since you asked the question here goes:1.Selfless pals: Who are not bothered about your background or academic score & are true friends. They stand by you at all times in all situations.2.Booze pals: They are just drinking partners with whom you can chat ONLY when you are drunk. They mostly join you when the booze is on you.3.First year pals: They are your pals in the foundation year, as you are in the same class. But second year on wards as your streams put you in separate classes, the gap widens & by 4th year you conversation hardly goes beyond an occasional “Hi”.4. Plagiarist pals: They are friends with you so that they can use your concepts or try and make an “improved” version of your work. WATCH OUT FOR THESE THE MOST.5.Crab pals: They are like crabs in a basket. They will always try to pull you down even if you try to do something new. They are the pioneers of “The Whole class should boycott submissions” movement. They laze around all day & when the time comes for submission, they try & turns the class into a union.6.4 year relationships: They are very close friends in college but as soon they graduate, “Puff” they vanish in to thin air. They will hardly have time for you after that.7.Buttercup pals: Friends(usually from the opposite gender) who will butter you & make you do their assignments. Watch out for sugar coated words.7.Wonder couple/Wonder friends: Couples who remain together for a lifetime. Some even give their relationship a professional touch by partnering to launch their labels. There will be friends whom you hang out with years after you graduate, they fall under this category. You are damn lucky if you have 1 & 7 in your life. Watch out for 4 & 5 the most.Hope that helped. For fashion queries or to check out our men's street wear collection feel free to visit Era of Attitude - Men's Clothing, Men's Apparel

Is FDDI worth spending money on?

Hi Good QuestionI passed out from FDDI, Noida in 1995. One year course and paid 25,000.Batch of just 18 in Diploma in Footwear Designing course.Had Italian, German and Czech faculty too back then.Learnt a lot of stuff, therefore can make a shoe from concept to sample with my own hands. You can learn a lot. But mainly about the leather footwear. However there is another non-leather industry too in India, that is very big.Back then, there were very few good opportunities in the oragnised sector. But now there are much more options for you to make a career. Commercial side of footwear jobs like buyer, merchandising, sales, export, sourcing have a far better future than compared to production and product development side. There is space for excellent people in product side but won’t fetch satisfyingly higher salaries. If you want to make more money, stick to the commercial side.If you want overall better life , avoid footwear industry because there are more trained people from several institutes compared to the number of job opportunities. And to answer your question, its worth more to spend now in a course at FDDI now, so returns gotta be better too.FDDI Noida has the best practical classrooms for all the departments:CuttingCostingClosingPreparationLastingDesigningCAD/CAMPhysical Test LabChemical Test LabIndustry exposureNo doubt you will learn a lot from the Noida campus which is the best and if you apply it well you could do well for yourself. All the best !
