Help me!! the sims 2 (game) uninstall problem!?
ok. i want to uninstall my the sims 2. so i go to add/remove program. then when i want to remove it, a error appear said ' you currently have one or more expansion packs installed.you must uninstall all expansion packs before uninstalling the sims 2'. so the i remove all my sims2 expansion pack. when i want to remove the sims 2 back, the same error appeared back. i was like wtf !! i already remove all my expansion packs! and now i cant uninstall it. i try to go to the sims 2 directory folder at local disks C. when i click the sims 2 uninstall icon, the same error appear. Great! now i can't remove it from my computer. so anyone know how to settle this problem? please!!!!!! :(
Is there a free The Sims 2 Program that works like TS2 Enhancer?
My goodness, I just Googled TS2 Enhancer and it seems like a rip-off of The Insimenator. Which is 100% free (registration required) http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/board,698.0.html Looking through the features of TS2 Enhancer, it seems that the things that Insim can't do are these: Change Neighborhood Name, Description, and associated image. Edit Household Name, Description, and Money Changing Skin Tone, Eye Color Change Character Last Name (Insim can change first name) and Description (Bio). All those things can be done with simPE or certain hacks http://sims.ambertation.de/ I totally love the Insimenator and could not play my game without it. Ignore all the stuff on the site about it being unsupported...all that means is that the creator has retired. I've been using it for 3 years+ and it's never given me a second's grief.

How to INSTALL sims 2 mesh?
How do you install the sims 2 mesh, like the whole program ... to actually make meshes [ myself ]. and when i download a mesh, where do i save it [specifically] and.. how will it show up in the actual gam 'the sims 2 family dun stuff'. i have been searching and searching i was up last night or should i say morning till` 5 am. lmao. so yes, specifically i want to mesh [make my own meshes] notice how i say 'MY OWN' haha. i want to make my sims boobs look bigger and more. :D so help me , lols. okay toodles.

Go to the Phone > Settings > Contacts and then there is an option usually under the name of Contacts to Display from , select both the SIM’s and other options you want from there and you will easily get all the contacts .Hope this helps …..
Where do i install bmp files in sims 2?
You didn't say what kind of files the download was about. Was it a download manager or a program to help you customize your sims 2 experience? Something for editing pictures? Or for making custom content? There are oodles of things that can be downloaded for the sims. I'm just going to have to guess. If you downloaded custom content like hair and dresses, etc, maybe you also got a small informational image that is there just to show the person that downloaded it and organizes those downloads into folders, just what the thing you downloaded looks like. The Sims 2 program doesn't need the bmp files because the syntax of the item's encoded files tell the Sims game how to handle it. Normally all downloaded files of the same downloaded packet are conveniently placed by the downloader into the same download folder (or subfolder) so the files don't get separated. Often custom content contains 'readme.txt' files too, which contains important details about the custom content and what your instructions and permissions might be for the given item. Not everyone keeps the extra files or organizes them, so they can't remember what each file looks like or where they got it. That's probably most of us. Some that do keep this stuff organized are able to tell people when asked, "Where did you download that hair? (or furniture, or eye shadow)", and they can look in their files and name the author and where to download it. :)
How can I install and run Sims 2 on a disc for a Mac on a PC?
I’ve done this vice versa - and I got the same result.Well for one, when I did it, the disc wouldn’t come out. AT ALL. My only copy of The Sims 2 Double Deluxe is still stuck inside my (older version of the) MacBook Pro 13.3 Inch from over 5 years ago.Regardless of the physical outcome - as mentioned above - both the Mac and PC have two completely set of files and IOS software that they run. If the disc doesn’t correspond to the said requirement, it wouldn’t run, period. The only thing that could be solved is that to buy a PC version of the game.I’d suggest to contact Origin to give you a free full copy of the game if you don’t want to repurchase another game - if you can use what you have as a proof of purchase (and love for the game).Hope this helps!
How do I move Sims 2 from one computer to another without reinstalling?
I have every Sims 2 expansion pack/stuff pack/what have you. However, it's on my home computer right now, and I want to move it over to my personal computer without reinstalling it, because most of the expansions I borrowed from a friend who I don't see any more, and I'd like to save my Sim families. So, is there any way to move the game from, say, C:/Program Files/EA Games/ etc., on to another computer without having to reinstall it? Could I just copy those files onto a USB drive or something?
