Neither of us are party people at all, I love travelling and sightseeing and he loves his good food. We have narrowed it down to Sicily, Sardinia or Croatia but don t quite know where to go. Can anyone who s been travelling a lot or has gone to these places please give us advice? L d love to know what people prefer and why.

Where do most people go on holiday?

It really depends on the location, budget and the activities that travellers are in the mood for. This can certainly vary from adventure getaways to the more relaxed wellness holidays. Destinations such as Sri Lanka, Thailand, Singapore are good options. In terms of accommodation, guests can get really good deals when planning their holidays to some of the Asian countries. Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort & Spa is second to none.

When did you last go on a holiday?

a few months back. I went on holiday with my family. it was a very remarkable tour because after a very long time we all went for holidays for celebrating our 25 marriage anniversary. We went to Oman. Oman is a very fascinating country and beautiful it is surrounded by beaches and beautiful mountains. Oman is the best country to spend your vacations because it has various cultural, historical places to visit as well you can enjoy its natural beauty. it also famous for its well-known desert and Wadi Shab which is the most attractive attraction of tourists.

Do Eskimos emigrate or go on holiday?

they do migrate seasonally, and seal, salmon and whale are on the menu- among other items they trade for or purchase. some do stay in igloo while on the hunt, but many also have homes like you and i. the rubbing noses is a culture aspect of being inuit but that isn't all they do. some tribes keep musk oxen for their very fine hair, which is brush- gathered and spun into yarn.

Where do Japanese people go on holiday?

As someone who works in France, in a field that is somewhat related to tourism, I think I can make an informed judgement that Japanese people do not come to France in nearly the same numbers as they did in the 90s and 00s.The biggest reason for this is lack of money. In typical Japanese “Keidanren” fashion, Japanese travel agencies fleece their customers because the market in Japanese has no competition - it’s all cartels that work together to keep the prices high. Sites like “Expedia” or “Opodo”, which offer customer transparency and direct deals do exist, but are not used much by the majority because Japanese people are clueless of how to book their own trip - they are reliant to have an agency sell them the whole, pre-made package.A trip to Europe for a week, with no great perks or luxury, costs about 4 times as much when booked in Japan compared to other countries, and that accounts for more expensive flight costs.I can attest that the Japanese tourists of yore have been almost fully replaced by Chinese and South Korean tourists. The Japanese on a grand scale have turned to more affordable holiday destinations - South East Asia, where the local currency is so weak that they Japanese can easily afford luxury, or Japan itself where they are able to scout the market without the help of travel agencies and are not necessarily reliant on an agency to guarantee a successful and safe holiday.Hawaii is a special case because the Japanese have been going there in such great numbers that a complete infrastructure of Japanese-oriented businesses (hotels, restaurants, tour operators, duty-free outlets, etc.) exists which makes navigating Hawaii almost as easy as Japan for them. All in all Japanese tourists have become significantly less affluent and also less adventurous, and are outpriced by their Chinese and Korean successors.

She wants to go on holiday together?

If you had only ever been friends, it would have sounded like she was trying to move things forward or seek a positive response from you.

However, as you were seeing each other for a month, that does make it a bit more confusing.
I think part of it is to try and understand what each person wants out of the holiday?
How did you feel when she asked you?
What's going on in each of your lives at the moment? e.g. with her friends & family. Is she feeling unsettled. If all is rosy - then its a big compliment she wants to spend this time with you.

3 weeks is a long time for even the best of friends to go on holiday and next summer is a long way off - a LOT can change in 6 months, never mind a year!

If your instinct feels like its worth a shot - I would suggest a weekend away together this year (even just to visit somewhere new in your home country together).

You can tell a lot very quickly just from a weekend away and then take it from there.

I'm guessing you still like her and it wouldn't be fair on you to be planning a holiday with someone if her intentions aren't clear to you.

I hope this helps and take care.

Where do Australians go on holiday?

Australians don’t go on vacations, we go on holidays.Assuming that’s what you mean, we travel a lot further for our breaks than most others - especially Europeans. The flights are longer and the road trips further.Aussies can be found behaving badly all over the world. Those on my generation (Baby Boomers - although I’ll deny it if you ask to my face) and older often traveled overseas much less than the current generations, as air travel was a lot more expensive. But we get around. Now speaking personally, I’m from Melbourne. Local holidays were often be taken in the State at one of the many beach towns- Warrnambool, Port Fairy, Lakes Entrance, Wilsons Prom are just some.Sometimes in Winter we would head North towards the warmth - Surfers and Brissy. Or even Broken Hill. Or Adelaide.Driving across the Nulla is an adventure. Or stick the car of the Ferry and Visit Tassie.NZ is one of the easiest overseas trips, both culturally and flight wise - takes less time than to get to Perth.
