There was never much of a plot or story in any of the other games in the series, you were given a target by your controller, you neutralised the target, rinse repeat. But really it is more like a tabletop game than anything else in the series. Personally I think of it like Cluedo (or "Clue" if you are one of our American friends), only in reverse. In a game of Cluedo you have to solve a murder. That's it. That's the whole story and it is the same story all the time, only the details or tactics change. In Hitman Go you have to cause an....accident. That's it. That's all you need to know in order to enable the game mechanic. So that's why there isn't any more. How the story plays out is more than a forethought. However, if Let's Go we're to follow the original Red and Blue games, there would be no 'storyline', really.One thing to note, though, is that there are high expectations from former fans of the series for the games to be still suitable to older Pokemon players.
