Where Can I List A Firearm For Sale

Does anyone know where I can find a list of Walmarts that still sell firearms?

Unfortunately, there is not a list that I have been able to find. I would caution you against buying guns from any Wal-Mart, though. The ones that do still sell guns are tracking the sales, keeping their own database of who owns them. They are basically registering guns, and they will give the list of gun owners to law enforcement agencies if asked.
They are also video taping all guns sales now, and keeping the tapes. Read more at http://www.reuters.com/article/topNews/idUSN1421318620080414

If my state requires a background check for any firearm transfer doesn't that create a list of firearms and owners that could be used for future gun control?

If my state requires a background check for any firearm transfer doesn't that create a list of firearms and owners that could be used for future gun control?the FBI is legally prohibited from creating a registry for GCA1968 weaponsunder Federal Law, FFL holders must make an NiCS inquiry, (there was never a gun show loophole)But the FFL holder must keep local records for 20 years or as long as the FFL holder is in business as the FBI destroys the results beyond that a FFL holder made an inquiry.note, NFA1934 is easier, if it is a legal weapon, the ATF knows who owns it.What does this mean for law enforcementA GCA1968 weapon is found with a serial numberLaw enforcement PHYSICALLY goes to each stop.law enforcement goes to the manufacturer, sees which FFL bought itGoes to the FFL, sees which FFL or civilian bought itGoes to the FFL, sees which FFL or civilian bought itGoes to the FFL, sees which FFL or civilian bought itGoes to the civilian, nope sorry sold that gun a lomg time ago, no one told me i had to keep recordsNumber one suspect for being a blithering idiot.Even if NICS for all was put into place at the federal level, it would still be a shoe leather grind. That is even if it became LEGAL for non-ffl to access NICS it would still be the non-FFL seller that kept records and law enforcement would still have to shoe-grind.The state law enforcement entities may constitutionally and legally permitted to record and register every sale, and the FBI may access these STATE RUN registriesHowever NICS access, even in FFL transfer States, is NOT a registryThey are completely different

I have just been "delayed" for a firearm purchase. Does this mean I can't go to another gun shop and try the purchase again?

I have just been "delayed" for a firearm purchase. Does this mean I can't go to another gun shop and try the purchase again? There are three possible outcomes to a NICS check:“Proceed” - The buyer has nothing in his record and the sale may be completed.“Denied” - The buyer is a prohibited person and the sale is illegal. (The buyer’s attempt to purchase is illegal as are any false answers he provided on the 4473. The FFL transferring the firearm to the buyer is also illegal.)“Delayed” - Something is preventing the system from giving a proceed, but doesn’t rise to the level of denial, at least at first glance. Some examples are: The buyer has a very common name or has a similar name and close DOB to a prohibited person; the buyer holds a high-level security clearance (I’m not sure why that matters, but it seems to;) the system is not responding, which could be due to the system being overloaded, but, sometimes, is due to a system malfunction.“Delayed” is not “Denied” and, most of the time, the sale is approved. Trying again at another store will just raise a red flag and delay things even more.

Can i sell my gun on craigslist?

No, you can't sell your gun on Craigslist. You can sell your body, though. San Francisco based Craigslist has no problem letting people use them as a portal for prostitution and other illegal activities, but try to sell a perfectly legal firearm and they get all bent out of shape! Liberal d-bags!

Muzzel loaders on craigslist / ebay?

As dutton said, gun haters will flag muzzleloaders. If you are careful how you word it, you may put it on there with decent results. You have to make it unconspicuous enough that gun haters don't even know what you're talking about, but experienced people know exactly what it is. That's how I bought my Traditions Lightning off craigslist yesterday. The guy had it worded good enough on the subject, and in the description he just put to email him and he'd email pictures.

This is what craigslist says in their list of prohibited items relating to weapons:
Weapons and related items, including but not limited to firearms, disguised, undetectable or switchblade knives, martial arts weapons, scopes, silencers, ammunition, ammunition magazines, BB guns, tear gas or stun guns. (these are all prohibited)

Per federal law, a muzzleloader or any other replica is not considered a firearm, but an antique fiream and shall not be considered a firearm. So, you're probably going to get flagged because you can't even sell a BB gun on craigslist.

Can you sell guns on craigslist?

NO you can not sell guns on craigslist.

Are gun sales tracked in a central government database?

How do you get on a watch list? The government *will not say*. That's why even the ACLU does not think using the no-fly list (a creation, by the way, of the Left-scorned Patriot Act) as any sort of control is a good idea. Babies and toddlers are on that list... And as far as investigating goes, in theory agencies are already investigating the person involved, or he would not be on the list in the first place, so what is the significant difference? Let's say he goes to a 'shady' mosque. Is that enough to ban the sale or to confiscate the gun? If not, then there's no concrete result. The Federal government does not have the resources to trail or monitor even a significant minority (thank God) of the American people, and if you don't have eyes on target, the fact that the person now has a gun makes no real difference, since you won't be there to stop him from the bad act. Now, as far as the Orlando shooter's CCW and security clearance (he must have had something to be contracted to Homeland), I do wonder that he was able to keep those under these circumstances, but there has not been any mention of the FBI notifying Florida about the investigation or their concerns, so Florida would have had no reason to revoke his permit.

Why do people hide the serial numbers on guns when selling them online?

Most of the folks above are clueless.

You hide the serial number to prevent some joker from listing it as stolen.

If I know your serial number and I list your gun as stolen - it will make your life a living hell. It gets confiscated, and, can take you 4-10 years to clear it up. There is a 90% change you will give up - and the gun will be handed over to me.

There are people who do this as a hobby online.
