Once a channel is deleted, you cannot make another one with the same username. It is impossible. If you have a URL like this: youtube.com/channel/fejwfreur84834y88f3r... There is a way to resolve this. To resolve this, follow these steps: 1. Go to the drop down menu at the top left of youtube then click "YouTube settings" 2. It should say "Overview" and his account name. It will have a link which says "Advanced" click that. 3. Now it says: Channel settings Channel URL: (example) youtube.com/channel/dwqihdiwqehju9e231u9... It should say "Create custom URL" 4. Now enter a real username, which cannot be changed once set. The main issue is that I want to match the gmail address that goes with it. If I type in the name into youtube, that won't necessarily show if it is taken. When I went to make an account is asks me for the email, and all of my information and asks me to agree to the terms of service before I can get to the place where I can put in a username and see if it's taken. I could put in all my information and then go see which usernames are available, but it asks for the email, and I want to it to match my username. Can anyone help??

is it ok to use karaoke version of songs on my Youtube video's without risking the video's getting deleted once I become a Youtube partner??? By Karaoke I mean no vocals just the instruments. Yes, it could mean all of the above. However a lot of the time Youtube will specifically tell you if the user was suspended. it is also possible the user has set their channel to invisible.
