Are crunches enough to strengthen your stomach muscles?

What is enough?Yes, crunches alone can strengthen your stomach muscles.Any action that activates a muscle (causes it to contract) has the potential to add strength.Does it do a good job of it? Meh.If you do them right, they won’t hurt you — you only need to crunch enough to lift your shoulder blades off the ground. Don’t brace your feet, either. Too much crunch and braced feet can put a huge amount of stress on your lower back.If you want to strengthen your stomach muscles there’s tons of exercises you can do:Cable pull downsPlanksSide planksLumber jack chopsleg raisesflutter kicksside leg raisesV sitsAre crunches enough? It really depends on what you mean by enough.ANY exercise can be enough, so long as you progress. Doing different exercises can be better, but just doing crunches can work.//side note: push ups and pull ups are entirely different exercises that work entirely different muscles, they “should be done together” because you want to balance your pushing and pulling muscles.//Side note 2: strong abs != a six pack. A six pack is simply low body fat over reasonably well developed abs

Should I join the Dance Team? Easy Points?

Hi guys, thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I was just wondering if I should tryout for my high school dance team. I am in 8th grade and I have the opportunity to tryout for my high school's dance team. I have never participated in a sport and I am not flexible. No experience is required, but I don't know if I should tryout. I am worried I will embarrass myself, but I really want to try it. Also, how can I become more flexible?
I am not fat, I am short with long brown hair (about 5 ft), I'm in 8th grade, I can't do a cartwheel or the splits or anything. Please help me and give me your opinion please!
Thank you to everyone it is greatly appreciated :)
