Teens Volunteer Online?
I am 15 and I live in Washington. I really love Volunteering and helping others. I really want to do some Volunteer work. But I live in a really small town so on top of doing some Volunteer work in person i want to do some Volunteer work online also. So does anyone know of any sites or organizations that let me volunteer online. I like to Volunteer with little kids, Mentally challenged kids, and elderly people. But i can volunteer anywhere. Also i am looking for basically any Volunteer work online like writting for a website or doing other things online. Also are there any teen crisis or crisis telephone lines in general that i can volunteer at. But any online volunteer work is good with me.
Where can a 13 year old volunteer online?
You aren't going to be able to do 14 hours of community service in four days, no matter what your age. Consider volunteering at a special event. Once you find an interesting volunteer opportunity, contact the organization directly. Does online volunteering count for high school volunteer hours?
Only your high school can answer that. If they require volunteering, you will have to ask them if they would accept online volunteering. What is probable is that they will want the nonprofit you are going to help online to provide information on its legitimacy, how you will be supervised, and what exactly you will do as an online volunteer.Virtual Volunteering & Home-Based Volunteering
Are there any online volunteering programs where we can work online and get a certificate?
The UN's Online Volunteering service used to have an option - not sure if it still does - where organizations you assist via the service could create a thank you certificate for any online volunteer that wanted such. But it's up to the hosting organization, not the UN OV service, as to whether or not they would give you such a certificate.
