Well you can watch them at anytime,because the movies and OVA's do not have any connection with the original manga/plot they are pretty much just extra episodes that have nothing to do with the anime/manga. I want to watch Naruto from the beginning?
The manga is still not yet complete, so neither is the anime series. I started watching it when I was 19 and I'm now 23, and I still think it's brilliant. So watch it, sure, but pace yourself for the wait. Also the movies are filler don't bother with them. Of the original series, watch until 135 and then the end of 220. Don't watch the bits in the middle, as they are filler and have nothing to do with the plot. As for Shippuden, I suggest you google naruto filler lists so that you don't waste your time with the filler episodes.
