Where Could I Publish This

How to Publish a book? At age 14..?

You can find literary agents that that will help you sell your novel to a publishing house for your particular genre by going to a library and looking for a book called "The Writer's Market." Look for the latest edition that the library has. They also have a website, but it costs about $5 a month to use the internet service. Make sure to follow the directions that each literary agent has when sending out query letters. And don't forget to send a SASE or self addressed stamped envelope so that they can write back to you. Usually if a particular literary agent rejects your manuscript, they may not write back because they receive so many manuscripts and they don't want to bother with writing back to everyone.

Remember: literary agents are FREE until your book actually published. You do not pay them. If they ask for money directly from you IT IS A SCAM. It is not until you novel has been sold to a publishing house that the literary agent gets some of percentage that your book makes. Publishing houses will rarely look at manuscripts directly from writers so a literary agent is your best bet to getting published. Publishing houses usually publish works through literary agents because they would be swarmed with too many manuscripts.

How would I publish my diary?

For the last 3-4 years I've been keeping a diary, and every day I seem to be writing more and more about pretty much everything that goes on in my life. I thought about basing my diary on a book, or maybe just as this diary, but there are some things I'm not sure about.

Things in my diary are really personal, and the people involved I wouldn't want to know it was them - even if I changed the names, it would still be obvious because I'd be talking about them - it couldn't work could it?
Secondly, it started off really babyish like in my first year of school - but it IS relevant. Would I have to rewrite it? It could put people off reading the rest.
Finally, what would happen to photos/manuscripts that are included? Would it be inappropiate to include those?

Or would it be easier to go for a biography?

Please don't tell me I'm stuck up for wanting to write about myself. It's not just about me me me, It's everything I've learnt from life and my dreams and hopes of a different world, and it's also a romance.

Any help would be welcomed

How do I get my book published?

I have written a book. I have been working on it a long time and I am very proud of it. I have given it to a few people to read so I had a few other opinions and was not just being bias. Their responses have been most positive and encouraging so I really think I have something here. I have no clue what the next step is. Where do I go from here?

Can I publish this under the Fair Use act?

Me and a partner have written a script for a comic we have been planning to do for one and a half year now, but the problem is that it's a fan-work based on Nintendo's Legend of Zelda franchise. While not following the exact same storyline, the script as it currently is uses some of the characters, locations and other elements from the popular video games franchise. The plan is to publish this comic on Deviantart where people can watch it free of charge, there is also no ad revenue or any other way we can make a profit from this work once it's finished.

I would however like to know whether or not we can actually publish the comic on this website under the Fair Use act or if there is any other law or bill or something that allows us to do this without infringing on Nintendo's Copyright. I already send an e-mail to Nintendo regarding this, but I like Yahoo Answers a lot, so I ask it once again. If it helps: I am not American, nor do I live in the United States (instead I live in The Netherlands).
