Where Could I Sell This

Where could I sell this mp3 player?

I wanted to give a RCA pearl 1 GB mp3 player which is looks like this but is 1GB and looks like this http://www.amazon.com/RCA-TH1702-thumbdr... but as I said 1 GB and with the same features. Since it is a 1GB mp3 player, and nonetheless the least valuable of the GB mp3 players. You see because it is a such a limited mp3 player, I do not know where I could sell it and how much money I could get from it. Does anyone know. Amazon might have this I know

How much could i sell my ring for?

You won't get what he paid for it because retailers mark up their jewelry significantly. You can probably get about $500 to $700 for the ring, depending on how you sell it. If you put it on Craigslist or the paper, be very careful when dealing with anyone.

If you have a telephone book, look up Diamond Buyers, Diamond Brokers, or pawnbrokers/pawn shops. The diamond buyers/brokers will pay you cash for your ring, and give you a percentage of what it's worth. This would be the easiest & safest way for you to sell it. Try the pawnbrokers/ pawn shops last because they will give you much less.

There are also sites online that will buy your diamond. It is acceptable for you to call around and get a bid from several different sources & choose the one who will give you the most $$. Good luck!

Can I sell the ring?

Long story short I was engaged to man whose drinking got out of hand and he became very scary. Driving drunk, acting irrational and I felt that if I didn't leave he would eventually lay a hand on me as he had come close many times. I also have a child to think about and very recently lost a child in pregnancy.

We had agreed to split the cost of the wedding since we made roughly the same amount of money. I paid the deposit on the venue since he didnt have it at the time. He agreed to pay for other things to make up the difference. He never did. I always had to fork over the funds. Red flag I know. He always had an excuse why he couldnt pay but promised to get me money.
After a night heavy drinking night and him driving drunk to my house and scaring me and my child I called off the wedding and gave him his ring back. He tried many times to get back together and one of those times left the ring on my counter. I assume thinking I would just put it back on. Well that never happened and never will.

Now I am out all the money for the deposit to the venue, still will have to pay a cancellation fee and I am out all the money for the wedding supplies/decor that he promised to pay half off.
He continues to text me, sometimes saying keep the ring and sell it for the money I am out and other times asking for it back.

What do I do? Can I sell the ring and recoup some of my money since he refuses to give me any money for the half of the expenses I paid out of pocket for?

Can I sell my leased car?

You'll have to buy out the lease first, and then you'll be free to sell it.

You don't have legal title to the vehicle at present, so you cannot legally attempt to sell it. Even attempting to do so could be construed as fraud.

Only a fool would hand over money to you without you handing over a signed title in exchange.

You might be able to coordinate this with the leasing company first so that the buyer sends the payoff directly to them and gives you the difference. The leasing company would then send the title directly to the buyer.

Keep in mind that the buyout price in the lease contract is valid only at the END of the lease. If you break the lease early, it will likely be MUCH higher! Get the current lease cancellation costs from the leasing company before you proceed.

Could you even sell this mare?

I have a mare that could be described as somewhat similar.

She's flighty and spooky in the wrong hands, tests her rider like none other, and is very, very dominant.

She likes to find the rider's faults and play them into her favor. I actually got her because she spooked so hard with the former owner that the rider came off at least once a week. Her former owner networked her through CoTH and waited until she found someone who was willing to work with her and her quirks.

I really like her. She's a challenging horse and I always have to stay on my toes, but she is teaching me so much more about handling horses. She is a completely different type of horse than my gelding, and isn't a horse to just quick hop on for a pleasure ride.

The biggest bummer is that I don't really feel too safe handling her right now, as I'm about two weeks away from having my baby. But hey, my husband can handle her for now until I am back up to it.

I certainly wouldn't put the mare at auction. I would network her as free to a good home, with a good inspection and taking the time to find the right person.

How could I begin to sell my original art?

Go around local businesses...cafes/galleries...places that you feel would reflect your style and would compliment one another and ask them whether they exhibit local artists artworks...

Or whether they are willing to.

It always helps to have a portfolio of work handy, just select a few which show what you're up to and don't hassle them too much if they're busy at the time, but be prepared to organize an appointment in which they can browse your art etc.

I know this works, because I am both an artist(who has used these methods) and a business owner who does this for many others.

I like art very much. Is it possible that could sell my artwork to the public?

Yup. It's possible, but not easy. It's only easy if you have a very boring, unoriginal style that appeals to the masses. Otherwise, it could take years of struggle and supporting yourself through other jobs. It's a good idea to get at least some formal training through art school. Keep working hard at making your art better and finding your personal inspiration. The good news is that when you start selling, besides being personally satisfying, painting is profitable. I only have to sell one painting to pay for all my expenses and start making a profit for the year. Not like most businesses where you can be in dept for years!

Learn everything you can about making professional submissions to art galleries. Find a gallery that suits you. Don't try to change your art for the gallery. If they don't sell anything, look for new representation. Exposure is good, but remember, eventually you can die of exposure. Don't let anyone rip you off. Treat yourself as a professional and others will to. Don't give away art to charity unless you have a strong personal motive. Would a dentist give away root canals just because someone asked? I think not. Be careful about taking business advice and follow your instincts. You don't want to cheapen your image.

Create a website for your art. Learn Dreamweaver, so you can save money by doing your own website.

Art festivals are an exellent way to network with other artists and get good advice.

When you start selling paintings, keep track of your profits and expenses and pay your taxes. It means you take yourself seriously and you will have good karma. I do a simple monthly balance sheet and give it to an accountant who does my taxes for $60 at the end of the year.
