Where Csn I Find Flareless Wooden Plugs

Where can I find wooden organic tunnels for my ears? (gauges)?

Green Earth carries larger gauge organic plugs and tunnels, but if you don't have a Green Earth, you can always order online.

http://www.omericaorganic.com/ is a good site, and you can browse by size.

http://www.siaminterhandicrafts.com/en-us/dept_113.html has really neat stuff- but you can't browse by size. I think you might really like the teardrop ones:

Is wearing wooden plugs for a long time and in the shower bad for your ears?

I read somewhere online that you shouldn't wear wooden plugs in your ears for a long period of time because it easily carries bacteria.
And that you shouldn't wear them in the shower.
Is this true??

I've been wearing wooden plugs everyday for about a month now and they haven't done any noticeable harm (yet) so I'm not too concerned.

Where can i find a 1 1/2 inch wood plug cutter?

go to your local home depot, menards, lowes and ask an associate/manager in that dept. for help---they are actually really knowledgable

Is it possible to be allergic to wood plugs?

well, there are actually a few things that could cause this, wood of course can splinter, and your body will naturally try everything it can to expel it. Also, yes, anyone can be allergic to anything. If it continues and you are seriously concerned about it, you may need a doctor to prescribe some antibiotics to help kill whatever bacteria has gotten in. Also remember, this is the body's reaction to anything foreign that it is aware of, and if it is something serious, it will not stay with just the symptoms you described, it will start trying more and more methods to get rid of it, and you'll generally feel like you've got some sort of cold or flu. Keep that in mind over the next few days/weeks because if you do start to feel achy or sick in any way, it's very likely they are connected. Good luck.

Can your ears explode from stretching with wood?

I was at size 2 and streched with a 0 gauge i made out of walnut wood. My ears healed and were fine. I stretched with 00 with walnut as well. Again they healed and were fine for about two weeks. A few days ago my ears lobes began to itch and the skin was dry, flaking, and swollen. But they were not sore at all. The swelling would seem to go down but as soon as i rubbed them due to the itch they would swell more. Now they are pusing as they would when they heal. I have taken out the walnut and put a size 2 bone in. My theory is that when i would clean the walnut plugs with peroxide( a 10 minute soke while taking a shower) the wood obsorbed it as any wood would obsorb a liquid. Perhaps the peroxide caused the exsessive drying? Any opinions?

Where can I order badass 00g plugs?

I used to buy all my plugs at Hot Topic, but their selection has dwindled. I end up shopping at Spencer's instead, or ordering online.

There are a lot of sites that sell plugs, but some are really stupid or extremely expensive. What are some good sites for buying sweet but affordable ($25 or less) plugs, 00 gauge?

A few more details for ya...I don't buy plugs made of horns. Any other material is fine...although I don't particularly like wooden ones. (just not my style) I like pincher-style or spiral ones a lot. Other particulars: glitter, stars, skulls, hearts, black, red, purple, hot pink, neon green, sparkles, that sort of thing... : )

Thanks so much for your help!

Why are my wood plugs getting stuck in my ears?

I have been at a size 0 for almost 3 weeks now. I am using titanium tapers and want to use these wood plugs that I have. The first time I put them in (about 2 weeks ago) i didnt use any jojobo oil which probably wasnt a good choice, and i left them in overnight. By morning they were completely stuck! They literally felt like the skin grew to the plugs, and when i finally pushed them out my skin tore and my ears were bleeding. I then decided to put back in the metal tapers for a few weeks before trying again.

When I did try again I put jojobo oil on the wearable part of the plug and let it sit for about 20 min before putting them in. They went in no problem, but 30 mins later I wanted to check to make sure they would come out so i wouldnt mess up my ears again. and they were stuck again... They came out much easier, still with a lot of resistance, but no bleeding this time. i know that if I left them in overnight the same thing would've happened.

Is this just how wood plugs are? should I wait longer before switching from tapers to plugs? and why would wood plugs do this, especially since they're single flared?

Thanks!

Wood Gauges?

nutrition E oil, Jojoba, neosporin, and vaseline might nicely be utilized with any streatched holes. timber is going to take up oils so which you will possibly might desire to stay with small quantities three times an afternoon on on your holes.you will possibly desire to stay with after a shower and rubdown it into your lobes. ensure you shop them lubed so which you do not dry out your lobes, and be advantageous to scrub them as quickly as an afternoon with rubbing alcohol (Your holes, and the timber's floor) to ward off micro organism growth. quite, i would not use organic and organic timber because of the fact of their infamous an infection fee. elect glass, or crystal..... even maximum gemstones and specific stones might nicely be modern-day in formed plugs... they could be greater secure than timber, or Ivory. Organics are on no account quite worn except they are previous holes, and in basic terms for a week at a time, or very short sessions of time. I placed on silicone or steel at abode, and in basic terms put in my organics for going out. ***** do not call your holes, tunnels, plugs, or tapers gauges.... that's like calling shoes sizes; the gauge of the article is the dimensions. *****

How do I fill a hole in wood?

Small holes and imperfections can be quickly and permanently fixed by glueing a small slice of wood that you force into the screw hole. Make sure it's just below the surface and let it set up for 20 minutes to half an hour then to finish it mix a bit of sanding dust from the same wood with carpenters glue and force it into the hole until it's over full by a little bit. Make sure the mixture is as dry as possible while still keeping it sticky. Let it dry hard, probably overnight then use a really sharp chisel or a small flush cut saw to remove the excess material and sand/blend the surface. This will not flake or pop out. It's a permanent fix.Hope that helps. All the best with your projecthttp://www.redridgemillwork.com
