Are Honda parts expensive?
I've heard that they don't break down or mess up easily but that the parts are expensive.. True or False? I would think that since they have factories here they would be less expensive than Mitsubishi and cars that are imported.

Can Honda motor parts fit onto an Acura?
Acura only exists in North America, as the same cars are sold all around the world as Honda's. So, essentially, the entire engine is made of Honda parts. Now, I will say that, even though this is true, the car is still expensive to work on. Why? Because parts for a foreign car are far more than for an American car. For example. A starter for a Chevrolet V8 is about $40. A starter for a 1.8L Honda engine is $150.
How many days will it take to get spare parts of Honda cars?
Depends on the car model and availability of parts. Parts are readily available up to their mid-range segments. Like Honda Brio, Amaze, City, Jazz and all. But when it comes to premium segments like CR-V, Accord etc it will take time. And sometimes only by pre-order they make it available. Usually the have the body parts in stock. Like break lights, headlights, fog n bumper parts which are always in demand. But the parts under the hood like sensors and other electrical components might not be readily available. But Honda will arrange the part within 1 or 2 weeks maximum if they have to ship it from somewhere else…Otherwise if they have it in stock then immediately to can get it changed. The service and part cost will be a little higher though. But the quality of the service are top notch. You can give your car during the start of the day, early morning and by evening you will get your car fixed even with major spare parts replacement. Otherwise 6–7 days if spares are not available!….
Why are the parts of a Honda car so expensive?
Gee ..I have a Honda in the family it’s the third one..I do most of the maintenance myself and after being in the automotive hi performance industry for over fifty yrs I can say in my opinion is that I don’t think that Honda parts are overpriced.however the parts that are not made by Honda …but sourced from other parts manufacturers…can be bought on line or at parts stores at more reasonable pricescase in point…why buy shocks and struts for your Honda from Honda? For less money you can buy bilstien shocks and struts on line ..getting a far better part for less money.buying Honda spec oil? A foolish waste of money…far better oil is available..just don’t buy non synthetic..the synthetic is far superior………

If you want to buy genuine parts, trust only Honda service center. I would recommmend you to buy from honda service center only. Recently I bought some suzuki spare part from some random shop with suzuki print on the box. Salesman told me it's original. In 3 months I had to replace it from service center. We cannot trust outside.
