If I buy a new cell phone on Swappa, do I have to sell my old phone?
I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 and want an iPhone 4S or 5 instead (probably 4S, since it's cheaper and I'm low on money right now). Problem is, I'm currently stuck at the beginning of a 2 yr contract with the GS3, and it's a truckload of money I'll have to pay to cancel my contract and get the iPhone 4S. I recently found Swappa, where I can buy an iPhone 4S for quite a low price. But if I buy the iPhone, what would I have to do with my GS3? Would I be able to keep it or give it to a relative or friend? Or would I have to sell it on Swappa? Btw, the iPhone 4S I want is Verizon, since I can't switch carriers, and I like Verizon. Just not the GS3, at all.

Why should I buy an iPhone 4s?
Right now , it's completely irrelevant to buy a smartphone like iPhone 4s , agreed , it has been loyally supported by Apple for a really long time as compared to other companies but still it is awfully small by today's standards.The one and only reason you would want to own an iPhone 4s would be that it will get iOS 9 update series , that means a support timing which is a year from now. And that's something no smartphone has managed to get to. It's respectable that it's supported so well but being honest here , there's a lot of iPhone's like 5,5c,5s,6,6 Plus in the lineup it's siting along (although discontinued) , all of which are at least twice as powerful and are undoubtedly better options .

Can Best Buy fix my iPhone 4s?
They probably will because it's a known issue by Apple. When my husbands did that we took it to Apple and they just gave him a new one. They said it's a known flaw that costs more to fix then it's worth so they gave him a new one on the spot and transferred everything over to the new one foe him, no charge. Apple devices do have glitches they just don't make it public knowledge, you just experienced one of them. If Best Buy won't fix it take it to Apple. No one will give you a credit to a newer model the 4s is still relatively new so it's fixable.

What Norbert says is completely false...we do not get phones a year after they are released in the US. Maybe a few months later but it's pretty much the same than the rest of Latin America. The new iphone in Tigo and Claro El Salvador is around $400-$500. The only restriction i believe is that they area only selling this phone with an 18 month contract data plan. I'm guessing that you live in Australia, and I don't think that would be the best choice to buy it here because data roaming charges are extremely high. Where can I buy an iPhone 4s battery?
My iPhone 4s battery was having battery issues including short battery life, inaccurate battery percentage readings, randomly shutting off and turning right back on at 56% once I plugged it back in. My iPhone 4s was from launch day and I had the battery replaced with the battery replacement from hcqs.cc. Once I had the new battery in it, the phone performed like it was brand new. All battery related issues went away completely. My battery percentage was now accurate and the phone never "died" randomly at 50%.
