Why do people play music on their phones out loud in public?
Ignorance, inconsideracy, and disrespect for others. I first experienced this on the way home (on the subway) after a evening out with my husband in NYC a couple weeks ago. It was like 10:30 at night and a bunch of teenagers were in the middle of the train car with their cell phones, playing these annoying rap songs the whole ride back to Jersey. I couldn't believe it - I actually turned to my husband and said, "What - they could afford a cell phone with an mp3 player but couldn't afford to spare a few extra bucks for some headphones?" It was ridiculous! The rest of the train does NOT want to listen to your blaring (and tinny sounding, I might add) rap songs, ESPECIALLY at 10:30 at night! Most of us are trying to catch a little catnap in before we have to get down at our stops. Very annoying, and EXTREMELY rude.
Do most people shut their cell phone off right before bed? i am afraid someone will text me and ruin my nights
Well I love my daughter to bits and worry while she's away so my moby is on 24/7 just in case she needs to get in touch .. When she's here I switch off when I go to bed (usually midnight)
