Where Do You Think ******** Cheney Ranks In The Cons

Do you think Scooter Libby was railroaded for the Bush-Cheney White House? Will and should Bush pardon Libby?

No, he was side tracked ! The whole idea to charge him only with being a liar, side tracked the real issue of treason, that high ranking admin. officials committed ! Karl Rove is the worst thing to happen to AMERICA ! What is it gonna take before the media looks around to see 3/4 of the citizens don't believe what is told to them in the so called news ! If you are not outraged at the crap that the Bushrovians get away with, then you're not a 'true patriot' ! Clinton merely left a sperm stain on some bimbo's dress, but Bush&Rove have wiped their butts with the U.S. Constitution ! I, for one,am tired of smelling that SHlT !

What do you think of the Constitution? 10pts for best answer?

The original Constitution may have been "flawed" but it's still a lot better than what we have now.

The basic tenet of the Charter is justice, not equity, as what is fair is not always just but what is just is always fair.

It's impossible to claim Bush has trashed the Constitution without believing Lincoln did the same.

The question of slavery, which could not be resolved at the Convention, was eventually settled.

The Constitution sets the parameters for the course necessary to obtain the ideals set forth in the Charter.

The fact that certain self-evident and inalienable rights had to explicitly be written into the Constitution speaks to the Founders concerns that they would not be self-evident nor indeed inalienable to some.

Habeas corpus is explicitly defined in the Constitution as a privilege which can be suspended under defined circumstances.

The Democrats have offered for President a Constitutional "scholar" who actually describes habeas corpus as a right, who fails to acknowledge that some warrantless searches are "reasonable" and refuses to accept that there are circumstances where "exceptions" to a trial do indeed exist and who has consistantly failed to support his constituent's right to self-defense.

A simple reading of the document proves he is no expert.

If you wholeheartedly support a majority's right to rule as it sees fit you must be wholeheartedly willing to accept becoming a slave.

This is the reason the Charter bestows no special right to a majority to interfere with actual rights.

"If all mankind minus one were of one opinion, mankind would be no more justified in silencing that one person than he, if he had the power, would be justified in silencing mankind."
John Stuart Mill

Was the server containing the 22 million emails Bush & Cheney deleted an official White House server or did it belong to a private company?

I am very confused about this issue, actually. I have been walking around for the past year or so with the fact in my mind that Bush and Cheney deleted 22 million emails. I wondered how the Democrats weren’t throwing this fact in people’s faces literally every 5 minutes for the duration of the campaign.Just today, I read some comment that the emails had been found in 2009, and nearly all recovered. Albeit, they are yet not available for public consumption, but here are a couple of leaks.22 Million Emails Missing From Bush White House Found (Wired)Data Entropy (Snopes)As to the ownership of the emails, it was a server maintained by the RNC, probably with some private contractors involved, etc. etc.I am more than open to being corrected on this point if the emails were actually permanently deleted, but I was kind of surprised to find these articles.

What do you think of the Constitution?

What do you think of the United states Constitution? do you think it's perfect just as it is? do you think parts of it are outdated or need to be removed/changed? do you think all/a lot of it just needs to be completely rewritten?

also, please state where you are from (at least what country you're from), and if you want, your age as well. Thank you and have a nice day.

Why did the people who wrote the constitution chose to separate powers among the branchs of goverment?

The intent of the separation of powers between the three branches of government (Legislative, Executive, and Judicial) was to create an interactive balance of rational moderation, where one's rights did not infringe upon the rights of others---sort of a checks and balance system built into our government. I even think the founders wanted government to move slowly through the House and Senate, with the Senate having a very slight edge. Some experienced politicians have said that trying to lead either the House or the Senate is like "herding cats" (a near impossible task)...lol. The Supreme Court has the task of interpreting our Constitution in the context of our founders' intentions, but also must weigh or take into account the significant changes that have evolved over the years: slavery abolished and language related to slavery was revised; women's rights; voting rights for women and minorities; civil rights; and so on. Our executive branch handles foreign policy, but cannot declare war (although Bush/Cheney did), the declaration of which must be done through Congress. The trinity approach distributes power into three branches, and this prevents abuses.

Should Michael Morrell have resigned when he saw that the Bush administration was lying to the American people regarding the CIA briefings he gave President Bush?

I hold that Michael Morrell should have spoken to a politician serving on a Congressional Committee with oversight responsibilities on matters of national security.  He may have had to resign if those Representatives or Senators were complicit in basing a war on a lie. When a high-ranking government official -- especially an appointed high-ranking government official -- learns of a material lie, affecting the lives of Americans (not to mention many others), that official has a duty to act.  If Congress was prepared to give the Administration permission to invade, that would be another issue.  Congress cannot govern responsibly and responsively if it is not made privy to the same information as the Administration. Congressional oversight committees are supposed to evaluate information and approve acts of war.  That is what our Constitution established.  The War Powers Act is for emergencies and nothing about the Iraq Invasion of 2003 was an emergency.Colin Powell dishonored himself by not resigning when he found out that he was manipulated by the Administration.  As a soldier, it would not necessarily have been his duty to resign if he merely had a difference of opinion or was ordered to do something he thought was bad strategy.  As Secretary of State, he was a civilian.  In that position, he should have resigned as a principled protest of the Administration's unprincipled manipulation of his character and position.

What's the difference between the Constitution Party and the Republican party?

The constitution party is the only party that is 100% pro-life and for totally closing our borders. Those are just two differences I can think of. Basically they take the constitution at its word and don't want the government to do anything but what the document says. Read the link and I think you'll be surprised how far our government has stepped out of line.

Why do cons belittle John Kerry's Purple Heart?

1. His wounds were self inflicted.
2. He wrote the paperwork up on his awards.

Don't think you need to go beyond that.

Kerrys record has been sealed by the Dept of Defense. How come.
