How do I edit contacts in Skype?
On OSX you can edit your contact's info from the "show profile" page where you can add phone numbers. You can reach this page from the list of contacts or from the 1:1 conversation view for that contact. Those are stored locally, so the added numbers will probably not appear on other computers. Pretty sure there is a similar contact edit view in Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android as well.

From Windows / PC: Right Click on the person's Skype Name and Go to 'Profile'. If they have synced or shared their number on Skype, it will be visible in the popup window along with some other details.

There are default limit on how big the picture is, so there is no way to save it like it was taken in, unless it was the same skype default size. Skype automatically resizes your picture so that it fits the default picture size. If you want to control exactly how your picture appears, choose one that is 96x96 pixels.

It doesn't save the video calls. It only saves the conversations being typed. Just click on the user that you want to get the information from ad click on "Earlier Messages". It will go back and show them, unless you cleared your history. If you want to record video calls you have to buy a program that can do that.
A question about Skype?
I'm a little confused here, is Skype used for video chatting? Like, talking with webcam? Or is it a chat room. I know it can be used to call others. Some people are saying that it is only for webcam chat, and some are saying that it is a chatroom. I am planning to download Skype soon. Is it true that they charge you for calls and chats?

If you block someone on Skype does it delete them from your contacts?
I can't seem to find a straightforward answer. When I click "block" for a person, it says I'll delete them from my contact list, but I've also seen it listed on the net that it says any contact you've authorized once unblocked will automatically still be an authorized contact because both computers save such data. So is there a way to temporarily block someone?- or block and unblock someone (from both seeing me online and contacting me) more than once without them knowing? Also, I know you can go "invisible", but you can still contact and be contacted at that time - can you go invisible to just certain contacts? You see what I'm getting at. Thanks.
