The only difference in taste is due to the amount of filtration holes in the filter tip tipping paper. An ultralight cigarette will have more laser drilled holes in the paper (near the joint between the filter rod and tobacco rod) than a light cigarette. A full flavor cigarette will have no holes. You can see this for yourself.Take a cigarette butt and separate the tobacco rod from the filter. There will be a piece of “tipping paper” that joins the two together. Hold the paper up to a strong light and look for tiny, near microscopic, holes. In an ultralight cigarette there will usually be 3–4 rows of holes present. A light cigarette will have 1–2 rows of holes.A menthol cigarette gets the menthol flavor from the filter. Flavoring is injected to the cellulose acetate during the filter making process. A menthol light cigarette simply has more holes in the filter.

It has a taste to it that a user would know. It's hard to describe. The best indicator is when you don't get high. Trust and believe if you buy from street dealers especially black people (not all) but most you'll get ripped off. I'm not racist I'm just being reaI. I lived in San Diego & LA and alot of the black dealers don't understand the concept of repeat business, it comes from good product and customer service and not robbing you or cutting it way to hard. Always stepping over dollars to pick up nickels. Find a good connect through someone you know that can recommend them and show them respect and that you're a solid dude and not a sketchy weirdo that can't be trusted and that's that.
