What are the bad things about the army?
You are held responsible for what you do or fail to do. You have to depend on the soldier next to you and they have to depend on you. You get the MOS you have guaranteed when you enlist, and you stay in that MOS as long as you pass the training. That is not the only thing you are going to be asked, or expected, to do but you do go into the job you enlist into. No, we are not going to lie to you, but that does not mean what happened to me is going to be the same thing for you. I think that Infantry is the greatest job in the Army, but you find that many do not agree with me. So if I tell the being 11B is the best job in the Army and you think that the job is similar to sucking rotten eggs, am I lying to you? There are times that you are asked to do things you didn't think you could or don't want to do. During your training there will be time you will feel like you are being treated like crap, but that is to weed out the weak. You need to remember, that our nation's security will depend upon you and your service. If you are working at McDonald's and drop the ball, someone might not get a Big Mac that they probably didn't need any ways, make the same mistake in the Army and people might lose their lives.
When you get a car will the dealership run your license?
No the dealership does not urn you license I have purchased a car before without them even checking my license. This may be different from state to state I am in TX. But MOST dealerships do require to see you insurance card before you leave the lot and some even have you add the vehicle to the policy before you leave even though you really have 30 days from the purchase date to add the vehicle to the policy. So no just because you have a suspended license and a whole lot of tickets does not mean that you cannot go and buy a new or used car dealerships care about MONEY....not about the status of your license.
Do you need a driver's license to be in the military?
no u do not have to have one. my husband does not have one and he has been in the army for 2 years. they issue you one that is good for when u drive on base,but i dont think its good if ur off base.
