Where I Sell My Fort Worth House

How much are house blueprints worth?

In high school, I took all the drafting and AutoCAD courses that my school offered. I really enjoyed it enough to want to pursue it as a career and go to school to further education on the subject. I know that the pay of the job varies on experience and other factors. My question is, if during school I create my own blueprints and want to sell them to someone, what would be a fair price to ask for the blueprints? Does it depend on how many hours go into the planning and actual drawing time? Or does it depend on the quality, or is there another unknown factor that I am not aware of? Any substantial information is appreciated.

Cheap thangs i can do to make my house worth more?

Paint the rooms a neutral color, eggshell, off white. Giving it a fresh coat of paint can make it more appealing when you view the house. Add mulch around the flower beds, brightening them up, and plant annual flowers that are available in your area this time of year will also enhance the surrounding home. I would not build a shed. Anything in excess that isn't attractive will detract from the home. You want plain and simple, nothing cluttered. Another hint might be to change the faucets in the kitchen and bathrooms to give it a more modern look. Good luck!

“Ugliest” is a pretty subjective concept, but being familiar with the area I had to “bite” on this topic. I’ll give you my opinions and impressions, based on what I’ve seen. Some of the residential neighborhoods are overpriced semi-custom poorly designed cheap expensive tract homes.Oh sure the heavy thick wood comprising the kitchen cabinets look expensive. It probably is costly, but the massive structure, while impressive, takes precious space from the cabinet interior, leaving drawers and pantries that look huge but have little storage capacity. .Trim in these homes looks impressive but is likely faux. Mouldings are made of styrofoam, not wood, or worse, plastic. Fake. Fake. Fake.Carpeting and floor covering is designed to be replaced. Carpeting is a nasty concept to begin with. Imagine it as a giant filth magnet trapping sand and dirt. Vacuuming removes only the top dirt, and shampooing muddies the whole mess. I won’t go into my opinion of hard floor coverings, but be warned the manufacturers want them to be replaced in the near future. The trend toward painted or stained concrete floors is encouraging. Now count me as radical, but I think it’d be good to add drains with the concrete floors so you could hose out the room, not vacuum. Sorry to birdwalk. My home designs would be REALLY different but the question here is not how I’d improve construction techniques. And Lordy don’t let me get started on drywall. I hate that too. Designed to “melt” when wet. Can’t we do better?Back on topic, even fencing is temporary. Rotting stockade fences are a hallmark of the Metroplex. Some DFW cities now require metal poles, but the residents can’t afford the changeover, so sagging pickets mark the age of the housing tracts.Rather than new fences residents are busy trying to afford the huge utility bills resulting from cheap construction leaving hvac units working overtime to keep up with air leaks.Sure there are nice custom houses to be had in DFW, but the Aversge Joe like me struggles to fix their crumbling palace as the shiny surface newness wears out to reveal the shoddy nature of the construction beneath. What would you expect in Dream City, home of Temporary Stafiums?7Does DFW construction have a name? I think I’d call the style Temporary.

The first step to make your current home more valuable is to make it look better at low cost. Maybe you have some friends that have skills in different crafts. tidy up your garden / fencemaybe repaint your housecheck your lightsclean the windowstry to get more space (get rid of some furniture; this will make your buyer think that your house is bigger than it actually is)This bullets can all be done at very low cost but will make your house a better selling item.

Bob Leonard Law Group in Fort Worth. I thought I was just hiring an attorney which to me was like taking a shot in the dark. But I ended up with a team all working on my behalf. My divorce was a nightmare because My x planned for several years and hid our assets before I was made aware of that our 30 marriage was over. Bob Leonard's team is amazing. Life in Ft. Worth is wonderful. Unlike Dallas it is very easy to get around the entire area. As a native Fortworthian of 63 years I have seen it grow and improve in so many ways. We have a vibrant downtown. Lots of places to eat from fast food to home cooking to fancy gourmet restaurants. We are a down to earth friendly city. So many family activities are always taking place. The adult activities are abundant as well. You will find everything you need here without having to go far or leave the city. The culture here is outstanding indeed. We have a world acclaimed opera house, Zoo, Honkey Tonks and Western events you won’t find anywhere else. We also have 5 Star Museums and Universities as well. So you see it really is a wonderful city to live and be a part of.

Richardson would be a great place to buy and settle. I am actually looking at that area myself to purchase my first home. I visit Richardson frequently (I live in Dallas/Addison) and attended Richland Community College, part of the Dallas County Community College District, and it seems to be overall a great place to live and learn. UT Dallas, a school I am considering for graduate school, is also located there. On a grade school level, the schools there are ranked pretty well on the Trulia rating, and many of my friends have positive things to say about it. It would also make your commute MUCH easier if you live and work in Richardson.Hope this helps!

About how much would a 2004 Dell Desktop sell for?

I have a 2004 Dell that I'm considering selling but I truly have no idea what the average for a used computer is sold for. It really is in good shape- one user, really only used for internet and to store some pictures, and music. Could someone (that know what they are talking about) possibly give me some estimates?

Is affording a million dollar house really that hard?

If you earn $140,000 then the house you own should be less than $140,000 because of the maintenance required. There is a saying that says if you want to get a loan always ask for more than what you need (they say that because of additional costs involving a loan like the first payment comes up pretty quickly and you'd want to make that first payment easily, plus there is interest, and sometimes even preparation costs). But that doesn't hold true in a mortgage. As you know in a mortgage loan you pay principal, interest, taxes and insurance, and closing costs. What you will find when you go to sell your $200,000 home is that it's worth less than when you bought it. So today it might be you'd be better off to stay in that home. Several states have been hit hard with the mortgage foreclosure crisis that is still unfolding and several states were hit hard (like CA, FL, TX, AZ, OH, NV). Sure you might be able to buy a million dollar house if you have the money and maybe even get yourself a good deal but the inflation cost that's hitting the economy now will eat you up. This inflation has gone worldwide and although you might not see it yet, it's already starting in higher costs for food, goods and services. Therefore I would advise against your move.

The word "afford" could mean two different things. It could mean "do I have enough money to buy something" or it could mean "after I buy something could I afford to live there". So now let me address the second meaning. When people have a million dollar house they hold parties and socialize among people in their same status. Are you and your wife party people? And, when you have that million dollar home you would be hiring a staff of people to work for you. Are you prepared to have those employees (staff)? And is your wife up to managing them? You'd need a cleaning person, a maid, a butler, a party planner, a driver, a nanny. And the home would be costly to maintain so the next question would be could you hire a lawnkeeper and construction type maintenance people. When you have such on your property you'd best have an attorney and cpa on call. Is this what your wife had in mind when she married you?
