Where can I turn off spell checking in Yahoo! mail?
Oupsss! Sorry :-[ It seems this spell checking was done by Firefox's internal spell checker. My mistake (I don't remeber turning it on and it was turned off before), sorry!
How can you spell check your email before sending on yahoo mail?
When your composing you should be able to see "ABC" with a check symbol that's the spell check if that's not showing then you need to go "options" then "General Preferences" then on composing mail check the "Compose messages as color and graphics" and save. You should be able to see it now.

when I reply to, or forward a message I am unable to find the "spell check" on yahoo email. I am using the newest version. I used to be able to use this feature when I had yahoo classic

when it indicates a misspelled word just continue typing. when you ignore it it will usually be underlined, which changes nothing. if you do not choose their choice when you RIGHT click on it to bring up the list of correctly spelled words you word will remain as is. I would recommend leaving the spell check option on for the other times you type something where you would want the option =======================================... if you still want to disable it below will show you how.. How do I turn off the spell check when writing an email?
I threw in some extra info on Spell check NEW VERSION You must be in the COMPOSE....FORWARD or REPLY mode...Once the format is up click on the "abc (check mark)" on the right side of the icons just below the Subject line...if it is not visible click on the DOUBLE ARROW to the right of the PAPER CLIP...Once done it will be permanent until you remove it. Once Spell Check is set up it seems to carry over to the Basic format. (for me at least) BASIC VERSION of the New Format Spell check is not always available. I have it in Firefox and Google,but it has been reported on this site that some other browsers may not have it when using the Basic format. To remove spell check just RIGHT click on any word and click on CHECK SPELLING to remove the check mark to the left of it....If you want it back do as described above or RIGHT click again on any word and click on CHECK SPELLING to place the check mark on the left side of it.
Is there a spell check on Yahoo Mail for Android Tablets? I cannot find it.?
Would like instructions to find the spell check for Yahoo Mail installed on my Toshiba Thrive tablet which runs an Android system. Have looked every where and cannot find it. Thanks.
