Where Is The Best Place To Buy A Bb Gun In Colorado Springs

What is the best place to buy quality airsoft guns online?

This answer will vary depending on where you’re located. A list of my trusted online retailers (in absolute no particular order) as as follows:ASGI Airsoft GI - Airsoft and Tactical Gear Warehouse - The Largest Airsoft - Generally higher in price, but they’re pretty reliable. Though they can get fairly busyAirsoftAtlanta Gun Shop & Tactical Gear Store - You’ll pay tax, but they expedite shipping and in my experiences they’re extremely reliable. Most orders are received within 2 business days regardless of size.Evike Evike.com - The Ultimate Airsoft Retailer & Distributor - Airsoft Guns, Rifles, Parts & Accessories, Tactical Gear - Airsoft Superstore - Another big company, they’re great, but popular items tend to become back-ordered and they have a history of forgetting about customers with back-ordersRedWolf Buy airsoft guns online from RedWolf Airsoft - A great place to check out if you’re looking for Chinese higher end guns.EHobbyAsia eHobbyAsia.com-Airsoft Retail & Wholesale with Worldwide Shipping - If you do your homework before buying, you generally turn out OKAirsplat Airsoft Guns Free Shipping airsoft rifles, pistols, spring, electric, Soft Air Gun - These guys are up and down, new owners every year or so. The end result is always a question. Things can go as expected, or be problematic, just flip a coin. But they tend to have the lowest prices.AirsoftMegastore (AMS) Airsoft Guns, Tactical Gear, Pistols, Snipers and More - Another site with similar reliability as Airsplat. Some say they’re great, others have had serious problems.Outside of those popular stores, you can also check out Amazon, but keep in mind they’re a third-party company. You’d still be purchasing from the retailer in the end, but Amazon will assist and complete the fulfillment process.Lastly I’ll say there are many other retailers. I tend to give them all a chance more or less, but if you have other questions about retailers, I’d check out this forum and view some of the reviews from online retailers. Full disclosure, I’m one of the staff members of the forum. Airsoft Online Retailer Reviews

Where can I take my boys to shoot bb guns around colorado springs?

Stop in ANY of the local sporting goods and gun shops in the 'Springs and ask them to give you the directions up on the mountain where everyone goes to shoot. Everyone with a gun in the town knows where it is. There are several areas just off the road where folks stop to shoot everything legal in Colorado from airguns up to magnum caliber handguns, shotguns, and rifles. There are shooting benches and tables already in place, but you will want to bring some paper plates or cardboard boxes, etc. to make your own targets from. There is PLENTY of room for everyone and the scenery is superb....especially looking back off to the southeast where you can see ALL of Colorado Springs laid out before you. The drive up the mountain is gravel road all the way, but well kept and the sights along the way are photogenic, so bring your camera along. It is also possible to see some interesting wildlife along the way in or out, so keep yours eyes pealed for mule deer and black bear as well as some of the smaller critters like porcupine, marmots, squirrels, quail, grouse, etc. I don't know how old your boys are, but they will probably also amuse themselves by looking among all the discarded brass for live rounds. The last time my sons and shot up there, we found over a box of assorted .22 rounds and numerous large caliber pistol and rifle rounds, clean and still ready to load and fire. It's a popular area. I think you'll like it enough to go there again when the boys move up from bb's to "bullets". Good luck and have fun!

Do porcupines live in Colorado?

According to Colorado Parks and Wildlife, they do live here.

Range: Porcupines occur throughout Colorado in wooded and brushy habitats but probably are most common in woodlands of ponderosa or pinyon pine.

Is it legal to bring a pellet or bb gun into Mexico?

Don’t even THINK about bringing anything even remotely resembling a firearm into Mexico.Even if it’s “only” a pellet or BB gun, since most pellets are .177 caliber, not far from a .22 caliber, it can easily be construed to be a small caliber firearm and that can get you arrested and jailed until they get around to figuring out it’s not a lethal weapon in the strict sense of the word.Whether that takes an hour or three weeks is entirely up to the arresting authority. You have no “rights” in Mexico as a foreigner. What I’m trying to tell you, is it’s just not worth it, unless there is a compelling reason to do it. That might be a pellet or BB gun shooting tournament or other sporting event, in which case you need to secure the proper permissions and paperwork from the Mexican authorities, but otherwise, I’d leave the hardware at home.

What are BB guns and how old should a kid be before getting one?

A BB gun is a pneumatic, spring powered, or sometime battery operated "gun" that fires metal or plastic ball-bearings (BBs) at fairly high speeds. The speed differs a lot by model. I have one I bought for small game hunting that fires a projectile up to 800 feet-per-second (FPS). On the other hand, a Daisy Red Ryder is usually somewhere in the ballpark of 300 FPS.For a Daisy Red Ryder, I'd say get it whenever your child is ready for it. Personally, the youngest I would buy it for a child is around 7 years old. I would use it to teach gun safety, proper trigger pull, cheek weld, etc. It all depends on how the particular kid is. I wouldn't buy an immature 10 year old a BB gun. They need to learn basic responsibility first so they can apply it to a weapon.I should also note I wouldn't let them keep a BB gun in their room until they're older. If I got a BB gun for my hypothetical seven or 10 year old it would probably live in the gun safe. Once they get older I may buy them a cheap locker to keep it in their closet, but also not give them any ammunition and make it a rule to never leave it unlocked or pull it out unless they have parental permission, and go from there.A BB gun is good, clean fun, and it can be used to teach gun safety and procedure in the back yard. I would recommend a classic (like the Red Ryder) for a first BB gun unless you've got a tall kid that won't fit its stock well.
