Is the Google Nexus 7 the best tablet for its price?
In certain aspects yes because of the different offerings associated with it. In my view, some of the main things that are important to highlight are Google Play access. Not all tablets with a low price range offer access to Google Play Store which could be a deal-breaker for non-experienced users that would not otherwise choose the rooting/apk install route. In addition, the display is also a great spec. Most tablets within this range have relatively poor displays especially when playing video. Nexus was build specifically for the purpose of media and content consumption. Therefore, display was an area of focus for ASUS and Google.

What is the successor to the 2nd gen Nexus 7 tablet?
They never did release a 3rd gen Nexus. Instead a year after the 2nd gen was released (2014), came the Nexus 9 a combination of the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. The only Google tablet released in 2015 was the Pixel C, a tablet-laptop hybrid. There has been word of more Nexus tablets, but for now nothing is certain.

Where can I buy Google Nexus 7 Tablet in US?
Just go to any GameStop store.Don't buy online from Google Play store. You have to pay 30 dollars for shipping in addition to tax. Just traded my Ipad2 and didn't even have to pay any dime to buy the Nexus. I still have store credit:) Btw, if you order now, you'll pick it up on August 1st. GameStop is also giving you the $25 Google Play credit so definitely don't buy it online.
Will a case for a Nexus 7 2nd Gen fit a Nexus 7 original?
I have the original Nexus 7 and since I've gotten a new tablet, I would like to use my Nexus 7 for my toddler. So I'm looking for a really good protective case for it and I've seen some nice ones for the 2013 Nexus 7 but haven't had any luck finding ones for the older model. So I'm wondering if the design on them is similar enough that I could just get one for the 2nd gen and use it on my older one. She would mainly use it for books, apps, and movies. Thanks!
Why is my Nexus 5 keep turning off on its own?
My phone turns off on its own alot it gets me really mad it makes me wanna throw my phone to a wall. When I click the power button just to put it to sleep, the power off option shows up even though I didn't hold the power button. I have to turn the power off if not then it will turn off on its own and it will reboot and turn off again 3 times and when it finally reboots it takes me to a screen that says "optimizing apps" and it takes up to 10 min, it heats up my phone and it drains the battery. Any fixes for this? I cleared the cache and factory reset but that didn't seem to work. I can't send it back it doesn't have warranty, this phone was giving to me by my brother.
How is Nexus 7 gaming performance compared to other quad core tablets that has 2 gig of RAM?
Actually pretty good for most of the games I tried. For example I have the "NFS Most wanted" which is a fairly heavy game and it runs perfectly on my N7. Had a chance to play it on the nexus 10 and beside the bigger screen etc. the experience was very similar.However please note that as we move forward, games are likely to become more demanding and therefore 2Gb might not be a bad idea.That said, I trust the N7 successor (expected in the spring) will surely have 2Gb onboard.
