Where can I buy penny board for cheap in India?
Hi, I found a couple of similar ones (other popular brands) on Flipkart/Amazon ranging from 5-12k. I bought a super super cheap one from ebay for Rs. 2600 which is decent. Though it came with a weight warning - no one over 75kgs!! I also saw one for 3-4k in the Landmark store, that was pretty good decent quality. Decathlon may also have some version.

You should get a Penny board if…You value size over performance, and style over substance.If you absolutely must have a 22″ board and no larger it's a fair choice, just be aware the skate performance will be worse than a larger “standard’ sized 32” wooden deck in pretty much every regard. Generally, flexibility is not a desirable quality on such a short board, and makes it more uncomfortable and less controllable.As for for basic tricks, whilst some are possible on a Penny they're made much harder by the lack of concave and small, sharply angled tail. It's an achievement to Ollie one up a curb, not ideal for commuting.They may look cute and retro on the adds, but they're much harder to ride due to the flexibility, short wheelbase, awkward tail and small surface area. If you absolutely must have a tiny skateboard, then it's a decent option. If not, pretty much anything else with big soft wheels is preferable in my experience. I would suggest you go to your local skate shop, pick a deck of the wall that you like the look and feel of, put some Independent trucks and large soft wheels (eg 58mm Ricta Clouds) and enjoy.TLDR: No, unless you need a really tiny board, get a proper skateboard.
Should I get a penny board?
So my friends and I are thinking of getting penny boards. (3 of us). One of my friends has kind of had experience on a Skateboard. Can ride it but isn't the best at it. Me and my other friend have no experience at all. So we were in Target and they have the cheap rip off's of penny boards, right? So we were trying to ride them around the isle and I found it hard to balance and when I pushed off, putting my back foot on the board was difficult. Keep in mind this was our absolute first time trying to ride. I'm under 100 pounds and have size 6 feet. Do you think I'll have a chance to actually ride a penny? Also the floor in target is that like smooth slippery surface so did that make them harder to ride? And are the knock offs of the penny boards in target the same kind of material and all as the real deal penny boards. Thanks!

Stephanie, I can't tell you if it is worth for you to buy a skateboard. That is a decision you alone have to make. If you enjoy being outdoors and want to get around fast, then that is the way to go. Now, some users swear that Pennyboards are the best there is, but they are pricey. Are the penny boards on Amazon fake?
As long as it states "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com" I would trust it. They have a great return policy and if you find out they are fake they will refund your money. If it indicates it is being sold and shipped by another company then Amazon will still guarantee it. ℬ ℋ
Why are penny boards so expensive?
I had one as a kid and loved it, but now they re so expensive I can t afford even a cheap walmart made one! I looked on amazon and they ll say 10-15 on the price but with 11-80$ shipping! Wth.

A penny style board (mini cruiser) is definitely worth it!Really it all comes down to what you want to get out of skateboarding. Do you want a board for cruising or do you want a board that is more for tricks.I believe that penny boards are more cruising boards than trick boards so thats the first thing you should think about.The offical penny boards are very good quality, but you can get ones just as good that are not made by penny. I would highly caution getting anything under $40, you’ll get a board that has terrible bearings thats hard to ride and you’ll have a shit time.Once you’ve made up your mind about that then really its nothing but up!The style of board is also easier to travel with this is me with a mini cruiser (the erskinTraveller) strapped to my bag when I was in Taiwan.The board is easy to take with you when you’re on the road, this is a shot of me carving down some sweet road I found when I was on a road trip with my matesI guess overall what I’m saying is the board becomes worth it if you use it!
