Yahoo update - I can no longer see the full address of the sender before opening.?

Sometimes a sender's name means nothing but previously you could check the full address by holding the cursor over the sender's name which would show: @company name. I prefer to delete mails without opening which I think may be Spam; is there any way to check the full e-mail address now? Generally, I don't like this new shortening of e-mail addresses even when sending, I would prefer a full address and not these horrid little boxes in the 'to' line.

Get your PPS number legally when you are actually resident and working in Ireland. I'm sure that it would be found out quick enough through their fraud squad an it's not worth it. Surely if you get the PPS number in Ireland, your previous social security number in your home country would no longer be valid, as the authorities would have to be notified that you are now in fact a resident of Ireland with a PPS number?

Even if you have family over here who are willing to go along with the pretence, most likely when you're found out they will also be held as accomplices. They are pretty tough of fraudsters.

Do it all legal and above board when it's actually the case you're resident in Ireland when the "possible transition to the Irish Republic in the future" actually materialises. Just get on with getting the passport for now and leave it at that.

oh and btw, any correspondence from the SW comes with their printed and stamped envelopes so if you picked a random address out of the book, the residents/landlord would pick up on it fairly quick. Plus the SW card with the PPS number on it would also be issued to the address given, not to the person.
There have been a few occasions down through the years when people have used my address to secure a bank account or credit cards (the bank address on the back is a clue to the sender) and I quite happily leave a note of nobody of this name at this address and flag as suspect fraud, marked return to sender and pop it back in the post. Pick my address and I'll do the exact same. Posties are not stupid, they'd pick up on a bogus address even if SW didn't.

It really depends on what questions that you have.

If you have a complex question, time-sensitive, or question specific to you...Call the admissions office. The best time to call when I worked in admissions was Tuesday -Thursday 8am-11am and 1:30pm to 3:30pm. Sometimes it would be dead quiet. Most didn't know our office was open at 8am, check your university's hours. Also know that summer is a slower time for admissions.

If you have not properly notified the landlord IN WRITING of all defects, don't expect him to act, other than on emergency items such as the gas leak and possibly the power issue. Document EVERYTHING. Keep copies of all letters to the landlord demanding repairs. While most leases stipulate first class mail, I'd highly recommend certified mail, return receipt requested. That way you have proof of mailing and proof of receipt by the landlord. If the landlord still refuses to act, THEN you may have reasonable cause to break the lease.

Post the scammer's information online so a suspicious potential victim can find your post and not become a victim. Asking yahoo to close a scammer's email address does absolutely nothing to the scammer. He just takes his victim list and sends his emails from another of his email addresses.

In fact, shutting down his email address helps him scam better and faster. Once one of his email addresses is closed, he can tell potential victims, my ex-husband/boyfriend/people out to get me are closing in, send your cash fast so I get out of this desperate situation.

You are taking the time to make that scammer's information googlable, don't un-do all your work and close a free email address that can lead people right to your post and your story.
