Where is the relay located under the hood in the fuse box for the power windows? I changed out the fuse under steering wheel and the problem is still the same. Few days ago all my windows stopped working. Even the power locks and the switch that control my rear view mirrors. Can you please be specific I'm a woman and will be following steps the try and fix this problem. It's hot and I need the a/c lol thanks a lot!
2000 dodge durango power window/lock failure where is relay?
I have checked all the fuses in the power block under the hood and on the inside panel. I have no power whatsoever to any power windows or locks. the window was left cracked open slightly on a wet night and nothing on the main switch has worked since. I hear that there is a relay under the hood does anyone know where this might be and what it looks like? I would like to check it out. is the 25A circuit breaker for the power windows under the hood? My owners manual doesn't list it. any one with knowledge of any of this I would sure appreciate your input.
98 Dodge Durango will starts only with a jump.?
I have a 1998 Dodge Durango. The truck will only start with a jump..... once on, it will run "ok". Battery Voltage reads around 14volts but when put into drive immediately dips down to 8volt mark almost making car shut off. Once I start accelerating the battery will begin to charge and go back around 14volts and will steadily decrease if sitting at a stop light.Replaced alternator and had battery tested both are good and in working condition. Once I shut off the car the battery is completely drained headlights and dome lights dont turn on. Then to turn it back on I will need a another jump then alternator will keep it on Not sure what else it could be. Any help is much appreciated!!!!

once again ,dodge doesn't run shut off switches on their fuel systems, that was a ford and mazda thing ,dodge hasn't ever ran them,and your durango doesn't have one on it,if its not getting fuel check the pump relay or the fuse for it,good luck.

i have looked under the hood in the fuse box and the one inside and there is no fuse listed as power door locks. I have pulled almost every fuse and they still keep going off. I can not believe that they do not list a power locks fuse.

These are quite simple and often the first place anyone should look when having issues with their car starting or running rough.You need two people for this job. One person to lay under the back of the car where the gas tank is located. The other person to sit in the car. When person #1 is situated under the car, person #2 turns the key to the “on” position. This is where you turn the key on where the lights on the dash come on, but you don't actually start the car. When you turn he key to the “on” position, the fuel pump will “prime” the fuel system by running for 3 seconds. The person under the car will be able to clearly hear the pump turn on and hum/whine for 3 seconds. If they don't hear that, most likely your fuel pump is dead.

there's two fuse panels on that one one on the inside at the end of the dash where you open the door and one under the hood and there's a fuse in the one under the hood ,its the main power fuse for the windows,and there's also one on the inside fuse panel,you,ll need to check both of those,if you,ll look in the owners manual it will tell you which fuse does what and also what size to replace it with,on the back side of the cover there's a fuse diagram of what each fuse does on that vehicle,good luck.
