Can Bearded Dragons eat Jicama?

That is a very interesting question, I did a little research and Jicama is a legume, which i apparently similar to alfalfa and other known to be okay foods for Bearded Dragons. The tubers of the Jicama are known to have a lot carbohydrates, and only small amounts of protein and fats. So that much is okay for a BD as far as I'm concerned. They also are a good source of water and consist of 85-90% water in the tubers, and are a good source of vitamins A, B, and C, calcium, and phosphorus. I know BD's need all, except for phosphorus I'm not sure what BD's need as far as that? They are good for fiber, which is good because it's roughage for your BD. Lastly it contain prebiotics which, in humans, is good for stimulating healthy bacteria, I would assume it's also good for your BD since there are healthy bacteria in its stomach too. I then conclude it's okay.

What do you eat for dinner in Bangladesh?

A lot of tasty food from our country or my country Bangladesh(LOVE)Similar to many other countries in Asia, Curries are one of the most popular forms of Bangladeshi food, utilizing the wide range of spices, herbs, oils, meats, potatoes, and aubergines available in the region. Many popular ingredients in Bangladesh are, in some way, incorporated into a curry before eating.Hilsa/Ilish curryBiryaniChingri malai curryDalPanta BhatParathaDhokar dalnaChachchariShami KababsSweetBeef Kala BhunaMorog PolaoI know this food item eating love anyone

Do Bangladeshis eat pork?

Yes. They do.But, not Muslims or Hindus. Their religion forbids them to have pork.Unfortunately, they make up for more than 99% of the population. There are six shops that sell pork in Dhaka. They quality of the meat is quite fair.In Birisiri, Haluaghat, and the Hill Tracts, it is a common food, as those regions are heavily populated by Christians and Buddhists.

Why do many Bangladeshi Hindus eat beef?

I am a bangladeshi hindu. I havent seen any bd hindu eating beef, except two who ate steak in germany, but never in bangladesh. From my experience, modern generation indian hindus from big indian cities like kolkata, delhi, mumbai, chennai etc are VERY liberal and gladly eat beef, as i have seen in germany(i had gone there for a free scholarship tour, where german language students from all over the world came). To summarise, bd hindus do NOT eat beef not in BD(do not poke me if you find one or two). I suppose, for indians eating beef is a matter of secularism, modernism and open-mindedness.

What does a typical office worker in Bangladesh eat for lunch?

A very healthy dish.Plain boiled rice, fish curry or meat curry (normally fish or chicken is preferred, beef / mutton is occationally eaten) vegetable dishes, lentile soup (Its very common, almost staple food), smashed potato or smashed fried fish (bhorta), some slices of cucumber and tomato, one piece of lemon. That's it. Sometime mango pickle is also served.Bangladeshi dishes are almost same as Indian dishes except rice is staple in all over Bangladesh but in India tortilla or Roti is staple except in Bengal and Assam.

Tip money at bd's mongolian grill?

Most servers make 10-20% of the bill total. So, you have to ask what the average bill total is for this grill before knowing how much tips they make. You'd also have to know how fast the tables turn (how long one group is there before leaving and another group sitting down).

As a server at Chili's I made about $12/hour on average. Now with this $20 for three courses for two people.... I make much less since bills that were normally $50 have been reduced my $30.

Any Crocodiles or Man Eating Fish in Bay of Bengal on Bangladesh Shoreline?

We have not heard any news like people taken away by crocodiles or sharks or Man Eating Fish in Bay of Bengal on Bangladesh Shorelines.

The water is slightly less salty than the shores in other parts of the world where ingress of fresh water from rivers are remote. The Bay of Bengal is semi-enclosed water mass. It maintains a clockwise surface current regardless of monsoon season, and receives considerable freshwater input from precipitation and from the Ganges-Brahmaputra system, resulting in a two-layered stratified water column. The Ganges-Brahmaputra also contributes an enormous sediment load to the region.

The country is home to the Royal Bengal Tigers, leopards, Asiatic elephants, monkeys, langurs, gibbons (the only ape in the subcontinent), otters and mongooses, Reptiles include the sea tortoise, mud turtle, river tortoise, pythons, crocodiles, gharials and a variety of snakes.

The Gangetic River Dolphin (Platanista gangeticus) is common in the rivers. No less than 50 species of reptiles and eight species of amphibians are known to occur. The Sundarbans now support the only population of the Estuarine, or Salt-Water Crocodile (Crocodiles paresis) in Bangladesh, and that population is estimated at less than two hundred individuals. Here land and water meet in many novel fashions, Wildlife presents many a spectacle.

Carcharhinus gangeticus (Shark) is found in the Bay of Bengal and in all the large rivers. Those living in the Ganges ascend upstream and are among the few sharks adapted to freshwater. Another important example is Scoliodon, popularly known as dog-sharks or dog-fishes.

Hammer-headed sharks are notable exhibits in large marine aquaria on account of their bizarre appearance. The head of this shark is flattened in front and expanded sideways, thus resembling a hammer. They are caught for their oil, although the yield is comparatively low. Four species have been recorded in the Indian seas, the most important being Sphyrna blochii (synonymous with Zygaena blochii, Day) found in the Bay of Bengal and off the Bombay coast.

The third major groups of sharks are the Squaloids composed of three families. Family Squalidae consists of small-sized sharks resembling the dog-fishes.

Happy visit in Bangladesh!!
