Where Would Be A Good Place To Move To

Would Egypt be a good place to move?

well, at the beginning i'd like to express my amazement that some ppl have guts to answer a question while they know absolutely nothing about the topic!!
i'm egyptian, from cairo, so let me tell you a few things:
1- egypt is paradise for a foreigner, as they are better paid, & most of the big companies offer health insurance, while if they don't, medical care is not expensive compared to the offered salaries.
2- Cairo is a very busy city, so if u prefer not to go through the daily traffic jam, just simply choose to live near ur work, wherever that can be.
3- Cairo is an open city & i wouldn't say that it would give u any trouble adjusting to the lifestyle.
4- the person implying that egyptains cut off the right arm of whoever caught stealing !!!!!!!!!! do u intend to steal there?
come on!... it's absolutely not true... my bro is a policeman, & if ur interested, the thief goes to prison, like normal procedure..
5- it's absolutely not dangerous out here, & on the contrary, ppl are friendly, especially to foreigners & would like to please you in every possible way.
you will have no problem communicating too, as the english language is taught in schools by default.
6- as for alexandria, it's a very nice city overlooking the mediterranean sea..it is very nice if ur looking for a slower pace.
7- in both cities, u'll find nice clean hospitals, non governamental, i.e., private, clinics & pharmacies.
u'll also find good schools, universities, day care centers, social clubs at very reasonable fees.
this is as well as the various coffee shops, restaurants & malls.
i hope i have cleared any ambiguities you might have had..

& good luck

Is mobile al a good place to live?

I think Mobile is a decent place to live. When I was moving to Florida, I drove through Mobile and noticed that living there would be less expensive than in Orlando. I mean in Florida (I live here in FL) things aren't going well, especially in Central Florida. Mobile has benefited from its situation as a port city, plus being a little more responsible than Florida in its development. It is still kept afloat by good businesses, and it has connections with Airbus, so Mobile is an important center for building certain things for Airbus airplanes.

Also, Mobile has 2 major universities, Spring Hill College and the University of South Alabama as strong points for the community. Plus, being as it is inexpensive, you can travel there relatively inexpensively so Mobile is a good place to go. I would recommend if it you can just move there with a job in place. Plus there are so many places nearby and also a relatively low cost of living there.

What would be a good place to move to in Canada?

Hi,Canada is a good place to explore opportunities both in your career and education. Socially too, Canada is a decent option as it has multi-cultural population. If you are immigrating to Canada, then you should be aware how the country has been sketched geographically.Canada is world’s second largest country with ten provinces and three territories. Let me name out these for you:- Saskatchewan- Nova Scotia- Ontario- Quebec- Prince Edward Island- Alberta- British Columbia- Manitoba- New Brunswick- Newfoundland and LabradorCanada’s official language is English and French (some province). For an Indian immigrant, I would suggest you to move to a Province where weather conditions are not much harsh (winters are really chilly in some parts of Canada!) and where there is a cultural match (some provinces are rich in Indian immigrant’s population). Some Indian immigrant friendly provinces are Manitoba and Saskatchewan. You can also consider Ontario and Nova Scotia. The following is the list of immigration programs for these provinces:- Manitoba Provincial Nomination Program (MPNP)- Saskatchewan Provincial Nomination Program (SPNP)- Ontario Provincial Nomination Program (OPNP)- Nova Scotia Provincial Nomination Program (NSPNP)To know more in this regard, get in touch with our Panel of Immigration Experts over our toll free number 18001201602You can also fill in our FREE Assessment Form to evaluate your chances of Canada PR visa.

Is tennessee a good place to move to?

I was born in Kingsport, went to grad school in johnson city, and have tons of family out around lenoir city. So, I guess that makes me a mountain man--even though I live in Connecticut today, blah.

Its so beautiful, and its rich in culture. The land/property is fairly inexpensive. The weather is four season but not terribly extreme in any one. The towns are tight knit usually, revolving around county fairs and prep sports. The public education is not bad either, but this depends on where you live--the Tri-Cities are actually very well educated, including Carter , Washington and Sullivan counties.

Politically speaking, its Christian Libertarian. Look into the sale tax--its about 9% but thats because they have few other taxes. Again, it libertarian.

If I could just live any where on the planet, it would be along the outskirts of Johnson City, like Gray (TN) or anywhere in Carter County, especially Elizabethton. Its a really nice place to live. You are not far from the airport, Johnson CIty is right there for anything you need, and you're an hour away from Knoxville as well as Asheville (NC), the latter being the coolest small city stateside.

Avoid Kingsport--thats where Eastman Kodak is located--unless you are living outside in Sullivan County. Sevier County is full of tourist traps but is loads of fun in every direction. The Chattanooga area, like Lee, is super-hyper-Conservative...I mean I was raised Baptist, and they even scare me at times, lol. Chattanooga itself is amazing, however. Don't drink the water in Oak Ridge--Y12 is located there, yeah my uncle and his buddies who worked at Y12 all died of cancer, go figure. Knoxville is nice to visit, but do not live in it...why would you move to the hills and live in a place like the Hill (a reference to the University of Tennessee, which is sprawled throughout the city itself)?

I recommend the Tri-Cities, though I am biased having grown up there. Darn, I miss 'em. Go see the Smokies. Hike Buffalo Gap. Drive around Johnson City and visit Elizabethton or Jonesborough. Download some Everybody Fields. Go to Bristol and dance at the Carter family fold. Also tune in online to the local NPR station from East Tennessee State; the link is below. Hope this helps ya'

Is San Francisco a good place to move to?

That depends upon your job skills and your financial situation. San Francisco has its plusses and minuses. On the plus side, the climate is very pleasant without the extremes in temperature that you find in other parts of the country. You never have to shovel snow and you don’t need air conditioning. There are a lot of good restaurants of all ethnic varieties, and if you have money, there are operas, the symphony and theater. There are a number of good museums, and Golden Gate Park is very nice. On the minus side, housing is very expensive and the city has extremes of rich and poor. Poor people can’t afford housing so they live in tents in various parts of the city. Recently a Quora inquiry was why defecating in the street was acceptable here. I replied that it is against the law and if you are caught doing it you will be arrested and fined. But there are few or no public toilets, and since there are a lot of homeless people and they eat, and consequently defecate, it has become a problem.I would not move here if I were making less than $100,000 a year as an individual, or $150,000 as a couple-housing prices are so high that it takes an income like that to be comfortable. I couldn’t afford to live here at all if I didn’t own the house I brought in 1986.

Is Orlando, FL a good place to live?

Decide yourself:+ Good weather (if you like it hot), quickly developing area, inexpensive housing, a lot of entertainment kids, still not that bad traffic, free parking, no Florida state taxes, a lot of jobs in entertainment and healthcare.- Terrible weather (if you do not like it hot), quickly developing area (construction everywhere), houses do not have basement, not that much quality entertainment for adults, traffic gets worse, expensive toll roads everywhere, no good IT jobs.
