Whether Ac Stabilizer Can Use For Led Tv

Whether LED uses ac or dc?

Led's consume D.C to produce light and are generally meant to be operated on D.C. but as Poor One points out they will operate on A.C. However with A.C. of equal voltage the value of the current limiting resistor will have to be adjusted to achieve the same brightness. This is because with A.C. the led will only be lit when the current flow is in the proper direction. When the current flow reverses the led blocks current flow and remains unlit. Thus A.C. applied to an led will cause it to blink on and off even though at high enough frequencies it will appear to be lit continuously. To make a blinking led appear as bright as constantly lit led the current limiting resistor's value is lowered to allow more current flow causing the led to be brighter when lit. This causes a greater average light output and thus a brighter appearing led. This trick of the eye is a phenomenon known as persistence of vision. This is also the reason the led appears to be continuously lit when it is actually blinking.
There is an led type specifically meant to be operated on both A.C. and D.C. They are called Tri-color led's and as the name suggests they are capable of producing three distinct colors. They are actually composed of two led's one red and one green, wired cathode to anode and anode to cathode. This arrangement will cause the led to light up red when D.C. of one polarity is applied and green when D.C. of the opposite polarity is applied. The third color is generated by applying A.C. which alternately lights the red and green led's. The rapidly alternating colors mix visually to produce the third color, a greenish yellow. This is the kind of led used in moving dot displays that can change color.

UPS or Stabilizer for LED TV?

Hi everyone this is my thought ups always good to use for led tv ups have both circuits low voltage and high voltage stablization along with battery operation the price also not that much difference not required for lenghty backup simple ups does do silent performance choose brand one you'll get best stablization surge protection I observe APC ups when power fluctuation came my ups stablization is did good job cutin voltage or cutoff votlage you program
Thank you verymuch

Yes. Stabilizer is save your LED from Electricity fluctuations.Setup box signals you channels. So both are different. You see Sandip Mahaen's answer to What is best stabilizer for all LED smart TV?

Stabilzer is best and more for the Tv.

Can a Refrigerator Stabilizer be used for a CRT TV?

The difference between one of those for a refrigerator vs an older CRT TV (the non LED/LCD stabilizer) is the one for the TV does not have a low-voltage cut off or time delay. The one for the refrigerator has the added protection of cutting off when the voltage is too low, as compressors don't like that. It also won't turn back on for a few minutes to prevent spiking the mains when it kicks on. This might be annoying since the TV wouldn't require the time delay.

It would work just fine. As far as flyback wearing out; these devices don't actually stabilize voltages, despite the name. They act as an intelligent switch, cutting off when the mains voltage gets too high (or too low if the device requires it); and then turning back on when the operation is in the safe zone. If you want to regulate the AC voltage to something that doesn't fluctuate; you need a power conditioner with a voltage regulation feature.

Is a Voltage Stabilizer needed for an LCD TV ?

TV from International brand maker. Power Supply Circuit always cover + - . 15 % AC Voltage. is mean the TV for 110 V is work between 90V to 125 V with out damage. and the Stabilizer circuit designs is Excellence.
LG TV power supply for the pass 20 years defective rate is less than 0.2 % worldwide. LG 32H35FR power supply cover from AC 100 V to AC 260 V. you don't need any VS at all.
* LG may not tell you the Power supply able to use for 230V. but all LG 32 inc TV power supply INTERNAL is universal type ).*

Image Source : Google ImagesThe LED TV is not the only electronic device in the house taking power. Every time the AC comes on or the furnace starts, electricity is used. This causes temporary power dips for other electronics, like the LED TV, which in turn affects the TV's processes. In fact, one of the reasons why many LED TVs fail early in life is not because of their display technology, but instead because their power caps get busted from power surges or dips. Install a voltage regulator/stabilizer with a battery backup that can provide additional power during dips. Not only will it protect against hazards like power surges caused by lightning, but it will also help keep the TV operating efficiently no matter what other electronics are being used in the home.Image Source :Google ImagesV Guard Mini Crystal Voltage Stabilizer -Ideal for "LCD/LED TV + HOME THEATREBest in class TV/HOME THEATRE Voltage Stabilizer that protects it from sudden power shutdowns and surges. No,you don’t need a voltage stabilizer. Modern Television sets don’t need one because most of the parts are electronics in nature.Previously, when we used CRT monitors the Tv sets used to have Transformers which would increase the 230V to a higher voltage ranges (in KV’s) thus enabling the CRT to work. During those times a Voltage Stabilizer was a necessity as drop in the input voltage would cause significant drop in the transformer output. So maintaining Voltage was of paramount importance.Modern LCD,LED and other types of TV’s have capability to work on voltages as low as 150V -190V.If one lives in a place where voltage could dip below 150V frequently ,then i would suggest on using a stabilizer, but this is a random occurrence(in villages) as most of the towns and cities have good voltages regulation these days.
