most newborn mammals cant pee and poop on their own accord - their mothers need to lick or massage their privates to stimulate them to go. however, cleaning up after them is a big part of having pets. if you cant be doing with cleaning up after them, maybe a stuffed animal or a rock would be good for you. everything that eats or drinks has to excrete something eventually, or it will die :)
