Which College Has A Better Program For Ece

Is the ECE program at Netaji Subhash Engineering College good?

As a student of electrical engineering dept it is not very difficult for me to ans this question.I won't pass any judgments but yes I will definitely like to mention some points.Strict rules regarding attendance.Good equipped lab(we used it too. So from personal experience the labs are well equipped but don't expect IIT or JU standard lab)Good faculty ( Judge with respect to private college)If you want to learn something you can get enough opportunities and support from your department. Anyone with plan of higher study can do hands on projects even from second year itself.Huge field of study. Now the final point job. Yes you can expect core company job from ECE in Johnson Control, Robert Bosch etc from this college. You can sit in both core and software until you are placed. Choice is yoursHope this can enlighten you.

Which is a better program for landing a job: MS ECE Georgia Tech or UT Austin (VLSI)?

Both the colleges are at the pinnacle in their respective fields. It is what you make of it.I am at GaTech and can safely say everyone damn one gets an internship.the opportunities are endless. Similarlt my friends at UT Austin too say everyone secures an internship call. The major difference may be GaTech completes in 3 semesters while UT Austin in 4 sem.If you have a choice go for UT Austin.(I am not and will never say GaTech is bad) The funding scene is better at UT Austin. Course work is almost the same. Big Recuriters visit both the campuses both have big names in faculty. Somehow I believe more of semiconductor companies are located in Texas and California so UT Asutin may have an advantage. UT Austin also has a meager fee advantage.Coming to GaTech has its other advantages. The ECE is pretty flexible and you can explore areas in analog VLSI or computer arch. If you want ESD go for UT Austin else both are similar. More of solcializing opportunities as Gatech is huge and faculty work in varied fields.p.s I am at GaTech and was too given this choice and I choose GaTech. Cheers! for having such a pleasant dilema. You will not go wrong whatever you choose.

Which college is better among VJTI and coEP for an M.Tech for ECE?

Well, its difficult to comment anything about COEP coz i haven't been there. But here at VJTI , everyday is a new challenge in itself to discover what one likes. You as a student are provided all the necessary tools to improve yourself but you are the one who is suppossed to use them and master them.Dont expect anyone to spoonfeed you.In my entire learning life never have I seen people running to get a seat from a class in one building to a class in another( be it the last lecture of the day), just to participate in the interactive manner with the professor. They say, here if you miss a lecture(interaction would be a better word)…then you MISS IT.!! This place is a learners’ delight.Where else will you see boys occupying the front rows and girls being the last benchers.Lectures are governed by students.Internship positions are available within a month you join the institution.PS : This answer can have further edits. Its been two months of my Mtech journey and I am in love with VJTI !

I m doing a B. Tech from a private college in ECE. What are the extra things, together with study, that I should do to get the highest placement which never goes on my college?

As I have done engineering from a private college and know the aftermaths of this , I have a few suggestions.1.If you find your Branch and Engineering then just start preparing for Gate and study all the concepts of your field thoroughly not to get good grades but to excel in your field of engineering. This will help you in two ways , first you will understand Engineering and 2nd if you have worked really hard you will secure a good rank in GATE or get a better job then rest.2. If you think like many others do that the Engineering was the worst worst decision of your life then you decide whether you want to go for a private job or a public sector job .you really have good time to think during engineering so you can go for SSC , bank Exams or even UPSC .what you will benefit from this is that you will have a good hold on quantitative aptitude and reasoning which will help you anyways during campus placement and if you work really hard you will secure a good rank in SSC or bank exams and you can get a good post .But just like any other engineer you will just read my advice and try to follow for some days and then you will forget it . just like any other engineer you will just read my advice and try to follow for some days and then you will go busy in another stuffs and during final year or say final months of engineering you will understand that you have lost all 4 years doing the things and then you will regret for years so it's better start preparing from now and enjoy for your rest of life. good luck

Other than iits which college are good for mtech ece?

Good decision to proceed for higher education. The courses in IITs are extraordinary good. IIT Hydrabad gained reputation among old IITs in short time. Other than IITs, IIIT Hydrabad is a well-known institute for cources in CS and IT. After IIT, you have you can also opt for COEP and VJTI. For IIT you have to have all India rank less than 500. All the Best.

Which branch is better, ECE or IT?

Well true that it all comes down to preferences but let's have a look at what the branches are meant to be.Information technology: where you learn about processors, compilers develop algorithms etc. But at the end of the day it all comes down to your coding skills. Companies recruit you on the basics of how good a coder you are.Electornics and communication: well you learn about microcontrollers and communication but keeping in mind that microcontrollers need to be programmed so you have to learn coding anyhow. And if you are dedicated enough you can use your little bit of coding knowledge on sites like codechef and develop your algorithms alongside.Since most of the things are getting automated these days. People do need programmers. But automation also means lot of electronics. If you're an Indian and are willing to stay here then you must have heard about the H1B visa ban making most Indian programmers unfit for jobs in the silicon Valley. Well that is where all the big boys that can fetch you high paychecks recite. Also this news was well promoted that a mechanical engineer student was able to get job in Google developing his coding skills online which just proves that you can really replicate CSE/IT courseS through a bit of dedication. So my personal view would be ECE is better than CSE/IT as it makes you fit for both worlds equally and with a bit of efforts you could do very well in your ECE curriculum as well as compete with most of your CSE/IT mates too. Not to forget how well your CV will shine if you are able to do that.Cheers.

Child and youth worker program?

im currently going into my last year of CYW and it is AMAZING! You dont really see how much kids need help. Its not really a challenging course but you need to be dedicated and be prepared to look back through your childhood. There are so many places out there that need CYWS but there really isnt that many. I personnaly never thought the program was for me until i started field placement where i discovered i loved it! kids are so written off today bc they have behaviour issues or they just dont see things the same as others that we as CYWs can make the biggest difference in a childs life. The program consists of a lot of group work and more projects then tests. You get amazing field experiences (if offered) that help you determine where you want to end up when your done. ECE and CYW dont really share any main classed just basically your psychs and soc's because with ECE your more learning what to do with toddlers and in CYW your more looking at behaviours and what causes them. I know where i go to school if you do CYW and then want to do ECE you can complete it in a year bc some classes transfer over..... i really hope this helped you!

Which college should I choose for ECE, Netaji Subhash Engineering College or the Future Institute of Engineering and Management?

It more or less depends on the rank you score. On a longer run you will be able to realize that there are few things that a college can determine,it is you that matters the most. What matters is the knowledge you gain at the end of 4years from your course. If you talk about the campusing part both the colleges come near. I would give Netaji Subhash Engineering College an edge over Future Institute over the fact that NSEC has the best faculty department for ECE compared to other colleges. Then a Techno India Group association may help you in the longer run.Having said that I would say determine which is one is the nearest to your house or I would say convenient to travel. Going for the college becomes a tedious job if far from house and that shall affect everything else. Thanks,Have a great Engineering Life
