Is the International Business Management Institute (Berlin) a real university that offers recognised online courses?
It’s clear from looking at the IBMI website that it is not a University and it does not offer a bachelors or masters degree in business management. It offers short courses that you can combine to get what they call a diploma. But this isn’t a recognised qualification and there is nothing on the website to say it’s certificates or diploma are accredited by any official organisation or academic institution.If you want a recognised qualification you need a university or college degree.For example, The Open University in the UK offers a BA (Hons) degree in Business Management. If you don’t want the full degree you can get a Higher Education Certificate (equivalent to one-third of the full degree) or Diploma (two thirds of the degree). While the degree is most likely recognised internationally, the certificate and diploma may, or may not be. Can you get a good job with an International Business Management diploma from Niagara College?
Being a student of Niagara College, I can say that yes. It teaches you some really good tactics about business which the employers are looking for. I know a lot of people who have studied something else first and then they pursued IBM. Basically, it adds a star to your current education and when it comes to scope, there is a lot of scope for business (obviously) and always will be.If in future you need any assistance regarding Niagara college, just ask me. Is it easy for international students to get a job in Canada after doing a post graduate certificate course from George Brown College?
I dated atleast more than 5 girls from GBC downtown Toronto they had courses like Information systems, Human resource and technical IT courses also. I am still friends with those girls and we meet at birthdays and sometimes on Halloween. They were Caucasians born and brought up in Canada they had bachelors from univ of Toronto . After graduating they were not able to get job in Canada luckily they had smart serve in Toronto so they were working in nightclubs as a bartender and drinks server at restaurants . They were broke and depressed i met them at the club and started dating. One of the girl is my current girlfriend and she is the head of product development in my company i gave her an opportunity to work for my company and she is a SME now . Moral of the story GBC aint good for getting jobs Canada is not able to provide good opportunities to its citizens you are an outsider don't waste your money. i am a straightforward person

I completed both the project management and the business management program (overall 10 courses and all online).If you are looking for a full university phd program with offline workshops stretched over years, this is the wrong choice. If you are looking for a fast and compact program to boost your cv with a cool title, this might be interesting for you. You learn the basic business and management concepts for a good price and you get a nice certificate. Period.Personally, I was looking for some business skills (I studied social science in Germany) and I did not want to spend years for that. Here in Germany it is hard to find a good job if you don’t know anything about business OR if you can’t proof that you know those basics (employers like to see some kind of certificate or document). I learned that even a non-academic document is way better than no document or a poor official certificate from the University of Buxtehude (or any other institute that is not Harvard or Oxford).After each course you have to complete a quiz and reach a specific score (I think 70% or 80%). The quizzes are not that hard, but sometimes you have to rerun them (you can retake them as often as you like).Summary: For me it was a good way to get business basics and I got a cool certificate in a short time period. That was exactly what I was looking for. But it's not a full MBA program. You can't expect that for that price. What they should improve is the community section. I would like to discuss economic concepts with other students, I was not able to find that option (yet? I was told they are working on that). So overall: It’s not a full one-year mba, but they have cool courses (short, online and cheap).

Financial Planning, International Business Management, Project Management are the most general programs. Most of graduate students from commerce background go for financial planning or IBM or Supply chain. If you don’t have work experience, then I wouldn’t recommend this program unless it offers you a co-op. Because, it is very difficult to land first job here. Just doing post grad diploma wouldn’t guarantee job.College is good. But lots and lots of Indian students there. I have seen people doing financial planning program and couldn’t get job. Also, I have seen people doing same program but in George brown college now working in CIBC (one of well known bank in Canada). But she had 3–4 years of work experience in finance in India.I would advice if there is no co-op, don’t go for it. Decide yourself.
