Which TEFL course should I take?
Just so that you know, if you have a B.A or B.S in any discipline from an accredited post secondary institution, you do not need a certificate in TEFL to teach in South Korea. If you do have a certificate in TEFL or CELTA, it will only make you slightly more marketable. Correspondingly, you will only be paid slightly more if you are TEFL certified- and I mean very slightly. You should note that they only recongize TEFL diplomas where trainees underwent 100-120hrs of training, and some places won't even accept on-line training at all. Having taken a CELTA course, I can tell you first hand that it was extremely expensive and it didn't really help me in getting any kind of pay raise. The course is stressful and time consuming, and I would only suggest doing it if you wish to teach in Vietnam or Thailand (many schools there ask for TEFL/CELTA certification). Sure, the course can help prepare you to be more confident in the classroom, but when you think about it, thousands of native English speakers jump into Korean classrooms everyday with little to no teaching experience and end up doing just fine. Furthermore, your TEFL/CELTA certificate is pretty much useless in Canada or America unless you decide to teach at the school where you were trained. Best of luck! Baluda.
Which biology course should I take?
I haven't taken either of those classes, but they both sound interesting. I guess it really comes down to what kind of animals interest you more. You'll probably cover lots of weird, wacky creatures in Invertebrate Zoology. Worms, jellyfish, sponges, squids, insects, sea urchins... There's a ton of diversity in the invertebrates, so you'd get to learn about all sorts of uncommon creatures. Vertebrate Zoology would probably be much more familiar. You've got your fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals, and other everyday creatures. If you like generally more complex, more evolved animals, though, then that would be the way to go. Again, vertebrates are more diverse, but this means widely different body systems that might be harder to relate to and difficult to memorize. Vertebrates tend to have the same basic construction through and through, but that could potentially be less interesting. Really, nothing says you can't ultimately take both. There's always next quarter or semester to learn about both groups of animals!

I am still confused on what course to take on college. What should I do?
Ok. First of all, your major is really not that important. College is not like an apprenticeship or job training. It is supposed to be a general education to teach you how to think. This you can accomplish with virtually any major. It is very much a deal of you get out what you put in.Hopefully you have some sort of idea which fields you do *not* want to do. If, for example, you want to be a science/ engineering major of some kind look at the undergraduate manual that lists the courses for majors. You will find that nearly all science majors needs calculus 1&2, linear algebra, physics, chemistry and English. So make sure to take those. Actually those are good classes to take regardless of your major. Look at your general education requirements and make sure you take some of them each semester. DO NOT leave them all until the very end. You may also take some of them at a community college to save money. Take things that challenge you and that you find interesting. DO not waste your time/ money by taking things because they will be "an easy A". Don't half-ass your English/ humanities (or the science ones if your a humanities major) classes because you think you don't need them either. Your classes are costing you roughly $1000/ credit hour. Don't waste it. Make sure you get something out of every class.Sign up for undergraduate research and internships as soon as you possibly can. Your first year is not too early. Start applying for internships in the fall. If, for example you want to be a nurse/ PA/ doctor/ something medical try to volunteer/ get a job in a hospital setting ASAP. If you think you want to be a lawyer, find some kind of law related internship as soon as you can. Make sure to try your best at these. Internships is the easiest/ best way to get a job after you graduate. Ask these people about their education and their day to day lives. You're probably not thinking about this now, but making six figures working 60-80 hours a week is not going to make you happy if what you really want is a stable romantic relationship and a boatload of kids.Take a deep breathe. Don't worry too much about your major, but make sure you don't close doors prematurely. Look at the long game. Start looking at jobs that sounds interesting and find out as much as you can about them as early as you can. Do internships.
What grade 11 science course should i take?
let me tell you something. Decide what you want to do. I didn't ****** up my year. Took Biology and Chemistry, failing both. Ive decided i want to go to law school because without sciences and maths my average is high 80's-low 90's. In Gr.9/10 i got 70's in science, now im struggling to pass. Biology-Memorization, Hours of memorizing notes EVERY DAY. Good thing is you don't fall behind because it's not concepts, just MEMORIZATION. PAGES AND PAGES AND PAGES. If your a slacker/ don't study for science for hours everyday, DONT TAKE THIS. But it is a prerequisite for a lot of university programs, mainly in the sciences so DECIDE WHAT YOU WANNA DO. Chemistry- I didn't understand the concepts from the beginning so now failing. It builds and builds, getting harder and harder. Difficult if you'nt understand, Easy if you do. I personally find Biology easier b/c Bio is straightforward memorization from notes. Chem is concepts Science and math combined. Physics im not taking it heard it was a killer course. Decide what you want to do seriously.Bio,Chem,Physics are the only science prereq. for university programs. Your not taking physics. You say your not that good at science. Going into university for sciences/engineering is a poor choice then for you. Business in university only requires 2 Gr.12 maths(NO SCIENCES), Social Sciences(Only English), Science(2 Sciences,2Maths,English),Engineering(Che... Physics,2 Gr.12 Maths,English(NO BIO),One or two sciences may be required if you want to go into Geography,Environment, Ecology, Psychology(Only recommends Biology). My sister in Gr.10 has decided she wants to go into accounting and has decided not to take any sciences in Gr.11. She's getting mid-80 in Gr.10 science and got a 90 in Gr.9. But she studies hard for science.She';s decided on her future career path and decided its not worth all the hardwork and stress from taking sciences when she wants to go into business. SO DECIDE WHAT U WANT TO DO. If you still have not decided what you want to do and you have to choose courses i suggest taking either chemistry or biology. Other sciences are totally pointless not needed for any university programs. Take 1 science and after if u find out what u want to go into and u need another science take it next semester. What dual enrollment courses should I take?
Do those colleges require a general education (that usually takes 2 years to complete)? If so that would be a great place to start, so when you do go to college, you can immediately start on your fashion design courses. General ed usually consists of college composition, english literature, math, 1 or 2 natural science courses, etc, just check with your college if they require that for their students (almost every college does).

An astronomer' primary job is to find answers of unexplained astronomical events, in other words to explain the physics of the events.Hence, to make a career in astronomy/astrophysics, you need to focus on physics, maths and, to an extent, chemistry as well. You'll be required to do BSc and MSc in physics.
