Which Ending Sounds Better For My Fairy Tale Story Long Description

Does this story plot sound intersting or is it cliche?

Well it is hard to come up with original ideas especially when you are borrowing from fairy tales. But your idea is a nice twist. Keep working on your ideas and story.

I need some good ideas for writing a fairy tale story...?

I have to create my own fairy tale for my french final (so it has to be in french obviously) but every thing i think of is already a story
so far i have a princess who lives in a castle far away. she is treated like a maid, especially by her mean step mother. she constantly wished to escape the duties of her horrible life. her step mother would never let her leave the castle (this is roughly translated from french which is why it doesnt sound fantastic but you get the idea)
i know it kinda sounds like Cinderella but i already started writing it so idk what else to do
i also need a moral so if you could throw out some ideas to add to the story and a moral that would be awesome

thanks in advance :)
if you could answer this as soon as you can that would be awesome

How long should a fairy tale be?

We have to write fairy tales for English class. Mine is about 5 and a half pages, Times New Roman 12-point font, double-spaced. My classmates keep telling me this is too long for children to pay attention, but I had to include the seven different elements of fairy tales and develop my plot well enough. Everybody else seems to be writing short children's stories that are no more than 2 pages long.

Is my fairy tale too long? Or is it all right?

What are your favorite fairy tales among Andersen, Perrault, Grimm, or the less known -- and why?

I wrote about some of my favorite Grimm tales here: Sarah McLean's answer to What is you favorite fairy tale?Of Andersen’s tales, my favorites are “The Travelling Companion” and “The Swineherd.” “The Travelling Companion” is one of Andersen’s stories that sounds the most like a fairy tale, about a very pure-hearted boy who meets a mysterious stranger on the road and begins traveling with him. They come to a kingdom where the princess is absolutely radiant but completely evil. The hero desperately wants to marry her, but he has to answer three impossible questions that she asks him. She has not only killed every man that has failed to answer correctly, but decorated her garden with their skeletons. The traveling companion uses magic and trickery to follow the princess to this very creepy and awesome mountain-cave where she parties with her troll lover, and therefore finds the answers to the three impossible questions that the princess asks the hero. The hero wins the princess, uses more magic to make her turn into a good person, and the story ends with an epic Sixth Sense twist.“The Swineherd” is a hilarious story about a prince who tries to woo the emperor’s daughter, sending her his kingdom’s finest treasures, but she snubs him. He comes up with an ingenious plan to burn her back, dressing up as a swineherd and making wonderful toys that catch the princess’s attention. He demands kisses for payment, which in those days was basically the equivalent of oral sex, in addition to being horribly embarrassing because she’s a princess and he’s a disgusting swineherd. She’s horrified, but she does it anyway. When the emperor finds out, he kicks his daughter and the swineherd out of the kingdom. The princess cries for having lost everything, wishing she’d married the prince in the first place, but the prince reveals himself in his royal robes. Then he roasts her. “You rejected the beautiful things I sent you, but you’d kiss a swineherd for a toy. Bye-bye, bitch!” (not an exact quote) Legendary.

Does Jane Eyre have a fairy tale ending or an ironic ending?

It's more fairytale than ironic.

However it's not completely fairytale because the characters suffer a bit; Jane is destitute for awhile; Rochester ends up blind and crippled. I'd say Jane Eyre is more a story of redemption than it is fairytale.

Do fairy tale like love stories exist in real life?

No! Not even remotely close.FAIRYTALE: Prince meets princess. Sing a song. Princess acts coy, prince is gallant. They fall in love. Villain hurts princess. Prince rescues princess. Happily ever after.REAL LOVE STORIES: An imperfect man meets an imperfect woman have an imperfect story. They love, fight, argue, love, tease, debate, differ, have fun, get bored too sometimes, care, passion, love. They marry. They work hard. Steal time for each other. Spend time together. Appreciate the goods, accept the bad. Correct each other. Hang out with friends. Grow old together. The above is a good real fairytale to me.About expectations: See...you man will at some point of time will mistakenly or knowingly will hurt you and so will you too. Just hug it out. Say im sorry and that you love him. Because don't you only hurt those whom you love and love you back? Of course you try not to...but it just happens. You can't be like he shouted on me, he doesn't love me. He loves you! Hence he can shout on you. Some people find happiness in a exquisite bag as gift. Some people find happiness in a dinner and game of backgammon at home. Some people find happiness to just talk to their man/woman.I suggest, let your man be. He loves you and will show in ways he feels best. Let him be free. Those will be best. Your happiness is linked to him. Not solely dependent on him. He has a life of his own, like you have yours. When you want something just ask...use your vocal cords, don't expect him to have psychic powers.

Which is better: Fairy Tail or Bleach?

Fairy Tail finds its similarities with lighthearted anime such as One Piece. It is funny in its own right, and has pretty solid lore, but from personal experience, its not amazing in any way. It passes for a funny anime, with its occasional fights which, by the way have the same flow and predictable ending. (“The power of friendship makes me stronger! HA ha!”)←Basically this. With loose explanations of power levels.Bleach on the other hand, is an anime which has had its place among the ‘Big 3’, namely; Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach. (If you proceed with this, keep in mind that the manga met a less-than-glorious end due to problems between Tite Kubo, the author, and publisher Shonen Jump. Anime covers 2/3 rds of the manga run. )It has a more serious tone than that of Fairy Tail, has more of a ‘reality’ vibe to it, but manages to maintain enough light-funny moments. The lore is pretty good and for the most part most of the characters are well fleshed out. The fights are pretty spectacular, as Bleach focuses on swordfights with powers pertaining to the ‘spirit’ of the sword.Overall i would recommend Bleach if you are looking for a really good anime.Although, if a semi-serious anime isn't your thing, then go ahead and watch Fairy Tail. Although why you would watch Fairy Tail while One Piece is still running would be beyond me. (Trust me, One Piece does comedy anime with powers better) .This is just my analysis of both the anime, hope you’re able to make a good selection!

Why did Disney ruin all Fairy Tales?

Fairy Tales were dark and twisted.

In Cinderella there were no fairy god mothers and pumpkins. She would just sing a song and birds would fly in and give her a dress and shoes. And when the Prince was going around trying to find who wore the shoes, Her step sisters and step mother couldn't fit the show so the step mother cut of her toe, the sisters cut off there heals. But the prince saw it and said no. And in the end it says that he made the step sisters and mother live in the woods where birds ate there eyes and they wandered blind forever.

My parents bought me a big book full of the original fairy tales written in like the 1800's. I read those, never bothered reading the disney version or watching the cartoons, when I finally watched one I was surprised.
