Which feature most likely appear on a physical map?

you didn't list them, but any type of landform:

Why would a topographic map of an area be likely to change with time?

Most topographic maps show more than just topography. The most frequent revision to topographic maps (the VAST majority actually) is to update all the stuff that people do to or on the surface of Earth: changes in streets, roads, buildings; other infrastructure like power lines and wells; changes to boundaries and land surveys. People often directly change the surface of Earth, such as leveling fields for irrigation, strip mining, filling in low-lying or floodprone areas, removing hills and mountains to build things (like road cuts) and so on. Even land-use patterns are often shown, and people use land areas for different things at different times.

Topographic maps also show hydrographic features. Because water is being pulled downhill by gravity, the way it moves is governed by topography. So, rivers and lakes are shown. But water is a powerful force on Earth's surface, and so it is constantly changing the surface through erosion and deposition. Maps need to be updated as rivers move, lakes grow or shrink, and coastlines evolve.

Additionally, elevation can change as well. Areas that were formerly glaciated show isostatic rebound and so the elevation is increasing. Delta regions are often sinking. Areas near tectonic boundaries change as plates move around and faulting causes uplift, subsidence, and crustal warping. Finally, volcanoes erupt, which offer the most dramatic changes in topography in the shortest amount of time, as land is built up or destroyed.

All of these factors contribute to the reasons topographic maps are updated periodically.

Which feature would most likely appear on a physical map?

1) Mountain Range
2) Land usage patterns
3) Population densities
4) Climate Patters
Which one is it ??????? Please explain why this is the answer and how can you see it ?

Who is most likely to use the physical map?

Generally speaking, the most likely user of the physical map who is not challenged by IT devices is the researcher. Typically, the physical map is easily available for the purposes of study and referral without any further constraints. Especially when it is a matter of examining details on a closer scale than usually permitted on an electronic screen, the physical map can be consulted at a single glance with confidence. Quite the advantage. We will always require physical maps for exacting analysis.

What are some important physical features in Africa?

What is a physical map?

A physical map shows all the geographical features and displays all the continents across the world. Water bodies such as oceans, seas, lakes, rivers, and river basins, and landscape features such as plateaus, mountains, and deserts, are all displayed on a physical map.Click World Physical map to see what the physical maps look like

What are the physical differences among general European ethnicities?

Germanic-NordicEthnicities : Germans, Austrians, Northern French, Norwegian, Swede, Danish. They have the highest percentage of blonde hair of all Europeans. Their nose is pointy and their skin tone is pink-ish. Compared to other Europeans, their forehead is taller, thicker, and more vertical.SlavEthnicities : Russian, Ukrainian, Serb, Slovakian, Slovanian, etc.Typical of Eastern Europe, Slavic people have similar features that are distinctively Slavic. Their nose is slim, but the tip is roundy. The nose trils tend to face upward, but often covered by the nose tip. Their eye brows often shape like “V” compared to the more straight Nordic eye brows. The lower lip is thick, while the upper lip is slim. Natural skin tone is more orange than Nordic people. When they’re slim, their face has a V-shape, but as they get fatter, the cheeks look big and round.Celtic-GaelicEthnicity : Irish, Scottish, Welsh. They are the most pale of all Europeans and have the highest percentage of red hair. Their skin tone looks almost white when they’re pale, but pinkish when more tanned. Cheeks and chin are chunky, giving an impression of boxy shape, and the nose has a little round tip that is slimmer than Slavic nose tip. Their lips are very thin and their mouth is wide. Their upper teeth are usually more visible than the other Europeans when smiling. Their most distinctive feature is the large eye bags.Turco-MediterraneanEthnicities : Southern Italians, some Turkish, some Greeks. They have the most Middle-Eastern appearance of all Europeans, characterized by darker skin tone (often olive complexion rather than pink), thicker eye brows, darker average hair and eye color, longer eye lashes, thicker lips, thicker eyelids, and bigger ears.

In general what does a physical map show that a political map does not?

A political map shows human-created features such as boundaries, cities, highways, roads, and railroads. Physical maps displays the natural features of the earth - the location and names of mountains, rivers, valleys, ocena currents, and deserts. Most common maps and globes are combinations of political and physical maps.

What physical features were important to colonists when choosing a place for their colonies?

They had to be somewhere near a fresh water source, such as a river or lake, because they didn't have irrigation, or sewage systems or anything, and (obviously) water is necessary for any animals to survive.
Also somewhere with soil (meaning, not a solid rock area) to be able to grow their food, not only to eat, but so their livestock could graze.
It was a good idea to be on a higher plane than the surrounding areas, because they could watch out for Native American ambushes or any trouble that might be heading their way.
And if possible they preferred to be near the ocean as well. This was so they could be near a port, since most of their resources that weren't readily available in America, were shipped over from England, or Europe.

umm...that's all I can think of.

Hope it helped! Good luck with the homework!
