Which Figure Would You Rather Have

Which Greek figure would you rather be if you had to choose between Daedalus or Odysseus, and why?

I would say… Daedalus.Odysseus was a good character, but more then once, he let his greed and selfishness control him, leading to bad choices. Another reason is because Daedalus tried to help. He really did, but he got punished because he did. One of the few bad choices that he made was pushing his nephew, Talos, because he was afraid that Talos was going to surpass him as an inventor. Because of this, Athena saved Talos and branded Daedalus with an image of a bird, to never let him forget this crime.Daedalus is my choice, but you can always have your own opinions.

Which Greek figure would you rather be if you had to choose between Daedalus and Odysseus, and why?

So I need to choose between a smart craftsman, a weak father figure, an archaic nerd and an adventurer, a traveller, a victorious commander, a challenger, a “nobody” for Cyclops, a “hot body” for Circe, an audiophile before spotify invented, a strong father figure, etc… That’s a hard question. Can I be Pan instead?

Would you rather ask for help or figure it out yourself?

Figure it out myself.Because I might find a better solution or may be a different answer also!In math 2*2=4 this holds true in any country,in any language and at any time :p but in real life,I strongly believe 2*2=0,2*2=1,2*2=3….. infinity! You have infinite answers for one damn question.Well..also because I'm that kind of a guy who enjoys the solution rather than the answer.I'm the one who enjoys the process, not the result.I believe asking someone for help spoils all of my fun and enthusiasm.Occasionally I ask for help, after all..at the end of the day I'm a human too.Actually sometimes it depends on the situation also, for instance what if I have a deadline and I have to complete that work as soon as possible otherwise I'll lose my grades at college or may be my job at work!In this case I'd definitely ask for help. Thanks for reading :),have a nice day.

Would you rather earn: five figures and be happy, six figures and miserable, or seven figures being miserable with no personal time, but you are well-respected in your field? Why?

Five figures and be happy.Dave Chapelle once sat down and had a conversation with his father about becoming a comedian. He didn’t tell his Dad he wanted to be famous, he said he wanted to be a comedian, and his Dad suggested he get a more stable job with a guaranteed income like being a teacher.Chapelle replied by saying that if he worked hard enough and made the same amount of money a teacher made, then wouldn’t it make more sense for him to be a comedian. His Dad replied something to the effect of “with that attitude then you should go and be a comedian.”Money is important, but job satisfaction is more important to me personally.I don’t want to have regrets when I’m older that I pursued a career field I have no interest in simply for “the money.”That’s a road I don’t want to take.I’d rather go toward the thing I find enjoyment in. Interest in. Fulfillment in. Especially if I can make a decent living doing it.90,000 per year is an exceptionally decent living. I would consider 40,000 to be decent as well.If you can’t be happy making 1,000,000 a year doing something that makes you miserable, then you’re never going to be happy with any dollar amount.I also take “respected in your field” to mean that people know your work and appreciate it.However, if the work I’m doing is of no interest to me, and makes me miserable then “respected in your field” isn’t of much value to me now is it?

Would you rather work as a janitor and get paid with a 6 figure salary or a white collar job with a fancy title but barely enough salary?

Not only would I be a janitor in that situation, if I had the option of being a janitor and still matching my current six figure salary (securely for the next 30 years), I would be a janitor until retirement as opposed to a highly paid white collar worker. I have worked at both KFC and Walmart in my youth, both part time and full time, and other than not having enough money those are very low stress jobs when compared to a $100k+ white collar job. You just do your job and go home. (although in reality, lack of financial security makes those jobs far more stressful overall IMHO)I enjoy my career very much, and would certainly miss the mentally challenging nature of it if I became a janitor, but I would probably enjoy my life overall far more if I had a very high paying low-responsibility profession. I would be healthier from the physical activity and reduced stress, and be able to devote 100% of my after hours time to family and hobbies.People making high salaries generally don’t make them just because of their skill sets. It is because of the responsibilities they have. Give someone the same pay but without the responsibility and I think most people would take it, even without the prestige.

Would you rather have brains or brawn?

A wise man once said-A strong idiot, doesn't know what to do with his strength, therefore rendering him weak. A hammer without an owner is useless, as it cannot do anything without a brain, even though it can hammer nails. This is very, very, true. Think about it. You could have all the strength in the world, but without a brain, you would be dead. The reason I think that brains are more important than brawn is because without smart people we wouldn't have been able to further the human race whatsoever. If all we had were people with "brawns" then we would still be down to our most basic primal instincts trying to survive.

Guys: Would you rather be called babe or baby?

I'm trying to figure out what most guys prefer so maybe it'll be easier to figure out what my boyfriend likes. He says I can call him anything, but I want to know what guys like their girlfriends to call them.

Would you rather have a high salary in a job you hate or have a low salary in a job you love?
