Which Girl Name Do You Prefer

Which of these girls names do you most prefer?

Adela Grace-5, don't really like the sound of Adela, but Grace is pretty

Keena Eliza-6, I like Keena, but I don't like Eliza and too me they don't sound good together.

Priscilla Sibyl-0, I don't like the first or middle name. Can't picture a child name Priscilla.

Kanda Rose-7, very unique and pretty! Sounds great together

Rohana Shashi-3, A strong name, I can't picture a baby with this name.

Wanda Isis-0, I do not like Wanda at all, I think it's a bad name for a young person but suits someone 50+, but I love Isis

Aruna Bela-3, Pretty, unique. Unsure about Bela, is it Bella or Beela?

Nafretiri Miu-1, Very fun to say :) I'm not if you pronounced Miu like Mwee or Mee, but I like both

Sheba Adelle-4, Pretty and unique. I like Adelle much better than Adela.

Scarlet Kaida-7, Simple but uncommon at the same time. I really like Kaida.

These are my favorite names, but they are unique and obviously mean something to you. I'm sure your daughter wouldn't share the same name with anyone else she meets, which is always good.

My favorite middle names are:
Rose
Isis (I like it a lot! It's uncommon, but very pretty!)
Kaida (Very unique and pretty! But still modern)

Adelle, Grace and Shashi are nice too. I find Shashi is hard to say though.

Favorite first names:
Keena
Kanda
Scarlet

Those are my favorite because even though they are unique, they aren't strange are still sound nice.

I also like:
Sheba(but I know quite a few dogs named Sheba...)
Rohana
And kinda of Nafretiri
Aruna

I don't like:
Priscilla(too stuck up and old sounding)
Wanda(too crazy old lady-ish)

Hope I helped!

Do you prefer Emery as a boy or girl name?

I think that Emery is absolutely gorgeous for a boy. Yes, it does sound a tad similar to Emily but that doesn't automatically make it feminine and I wish people would realise that! If you want proper feedback on such a distinguished, classical boy name then I suggest you head on over to Nameberry if you haven't already. The users on there give intelligent, well-thought-out feedback and put their rationality before their own tastes more often than not. Whereas the users on here are almost all trendy name lovers who wouldn't recognize a proper boy name if it ran around their neighborhood starkers.

On the whole, I think it's great and while I LOVE Emery Isaac, Isaac Emery is chic, distinctive, sophisticated and entirely elegant and classical, there is no question. I think it's nice and if you do as well then you should go for it; especially since middle names aren't on public broadcast like first names are. I personally know plenty of boys named Hamish, Barnaby and Alexander with 'girly' middle names like Lynn and Alexis and they've never had any trouble with them. :3

Do you like your name? If not, what name would you prefer and what interesting story would you have about how your name was given to you?

The name I use here is my chosen name.I simply had to have something with “FAB” in it.More aspirational than indicative.Zawa Rinpoche - (a Tibetan Monk now living in Canada) gave me the Tibetan name Lobsang Gyatso - “Beautiful mind like an Ocean” or “Ocean of Pure Thoughts” - EVIDENTLY more aspirational rather than indicative.Sri Lankan monk Bhikkhu Kasyapa gave me the Pali name “Visuddhi” meaning “Pure” when I took Upasaka Upāsaka and Upāsikā - Wikipedia vows with him - AGAIN more aspirational than indicative.Indicative names would have been more like: “Manipulative Parasite” or “Spoilt Brat.”The name I was given at birth was typical at the time of my birth, yet revealed a lack of imagination on the part of my parents.During the 70’s many British born Poles were given the names Robert (my brother’s name) or Marek (my given name). If anyone yelled these 2 names at Polish School during the 80’s - maybe over 70% of the boys would raise their heads. Half a dozen Polish families living within spitting distance from my Mama’s house - each of them have a son named either Robert or Marek. There are many more interesting Polish names, yet UK resident Poles didn’t want their kids to be picked on for their names so often chose names that were the same or similar in both languages (Robert- same, Ryszard for Richard, Edward - same, Andrzej for André, Józef for Joseph, Piotr - Peter, Mariusz- Marius, Dariusz- Darius, Aleksander - Alexander)Girls’ names were easier - Anna, Maria, Barbara (shortened to Basia, pronounced Bash-a), Renata (shortened to Renia), Krystyna, Wanda (Vanda in Polish pronunciation) Daniela, Iwona (pronounced Ee-von-a) Anita, Monika, Joanna (Poles pronounce it Yo-anna).Male names I love: Balthazar, Benedict, Dominic, Matthias, Silas, Cesare, Cyrus, Cyprian, Silas, Maximillian, Solomon, Fabrizio (OBVIOUSLY) Erasmus, Thaddeus, Menno, Oliver, Vladimir, Nikolai, Salvatore, Silvester, Sylvian, Julius, Zenon, Quentin, Tarquin, Rameses, Benjamin, Joshua.Girls’ names? That would be a long list.

Do you prefer Casey as a guy or a girls name?

Which name for a girl do you prefer: Bellamy or Ripley?

For a forename or surname? If it’s for a forename, I don’t prefer either. Both Bellamy and Ripley are surnames, and I’ve never personally met anybody with either as a forename. With Bellamy, just shorten it a bit and call your daughter Bella or Bella May or something like that

Do you prefer Isadora or Isolde as a girl’s name?

Isadora is beautiful.Isolde sounds like an European shoe company.

Which girl name do you prefer: Livia or Julia?

I'm not interested in other suggestions with new names, changing the spelling or these names to unattractive nickname sounding names like Julie or to hyphenated names. If you can't answer the question as is and choose between these two, don't bother to answer.

What name do you prefer for a baby girl? Ava or Maya?

Ava Rose
Maya Lee

What baby girl name do you prefer: London or Felicity?

Felicity. It sounds a lot more feminine, and as a name it could turn up anywhere, from a law firm to a fashion designer.London is a place name. And it could be classed as a unisex name. Also it’s very hard to imagine a high court judge named London unless it’s their surname.
